We went on Wednesday the 25th of May. Upon trying to enter the lobby to order, the door was locked, no sign on the door which I found totally unacceptable. So we got back in our vehicle and proceeded to go to the drive thru. while trying to order the food we wanted we where told that "the items were unavailable due to them not having a cook" the food we did manage to get was terrible. The shrimp was popcorn and very small, also spicy, she never asked if we wanted spicy or mild. I really wanted chicken strips and was told that they were unavailable. Popeyes really disappointed that day. It will be some time before I decide to revisit.
The food was good as usual. The manager was very rude. She was rude on the phone with a customer that wanted to place an order for 60 pieces of chicken. She was ruse to the poor girl that was running the front registers. Apparently their card machine on the front end but working at the drive thru. Their were about 8 or so customers waiting to order and she screamed " if you ain't got cash you need to go! " very rude and unprofessional in my opinion. I will be taking my business to another location.
They were replacing the drive thru menu and I was able to get my food fairly quickly, given the circumstances.The gentleman at the window was very professional and apologized for the inconvenience. I thought the staff was doing as well as they could, considering there drive-thru menu was being replaced.
Worst service ever. They occasionally close without telling you why no signage, nothing. Used to be my favorite Popeye’s destination. But has gone down hill with a garbage fire. Understaffed, untrained, disrespectful, unhelpful.
Who knows what time they're going to close on any given day. Dining room is never open. You may get there an hour before they close and they'll tell you they have like two items and the fryers are already off. Never properly staffed. Employees they do have seem to want to kill themselves and/or you. I'm patient but this has been going on far too long. Love Popeyes, am DONE with this location, the franchisee should be stripped of their store(s), because in the midst of all the staffing issues I'm absolutely positive they've never shown their face.
Wow Called to speak to the manager about an order? The general manager Daniel answered the phone Most disrespectful manager I could have ever spoke to. Especially being a manager of a restaurant myself. His reasoning for my order being Incorrect was they do about 100 doordash orders an hour, And when I asked him not to speak to me rudely he said it was because I was being rude to him first I'm sorry but that's not How you handle Customer service especially being The general manager! When all I said to you was I'm going to replace my order Don't send out what is still sitting up there!! You're lucky I was considering reordering with you...NOT NOW ??
The food is good, when you can get it. Don't ever go after 9pm, because they won't take any orders, or even acknowledge you in the drive thru line, and the doors are locked. Very disappointing. It's like, winning the lottery, and losing the ticket. Thank God for Raising Canes, on the west side.
I really do like more about the chicken I'll rate their recipe is so on point...I would say I'm glad to have tasted their recipe and how they cook the chicken ?? it is crispness, crunchy, seasoning is in great taste,juicy and well cooked.
Worst service I've ever seen. Was ordering at drive-thru, was told they were changing shifts and be patient... 13minutes later, a"manager" asked for my order, wasn't nice or apologetic for the wait time, I ordered, asked him a question regarding the cost, told me to just pull up to the window! I was handing him my credit card, he was rude and I suggested he shouldn't be so rude! He ran my card, I asked again about the cost and he said"you can go elsewhere and practically threw my credit card in my window! I left with no food and a charge on my credit card! I would have went inside but I had my granddaughter with me, she had seen enough! I called when I got home, was hung up on! Called again, was told I would receive a credit on my card but will take 10-14 days to appear.....
They take one drive thru order at a time and wait until the person at window pulls off to take the next person in the drive thru order been in line 30 minutes just to order , asked how long until they take my order because it was only 1 car in front of me the whole time , they got a attitude so I left waste of time don't spend your hard earned money here .. Do better workers at this popeyes
