We had the chicken salad plate. Will not order ever again. This used to be my favorite thing. When this item first came out it was the best. Used to get an ample scoop of chicken salad and the alot of fruit. So disappoint in this. Also got a piece of pie.. looked like a baby.. smallest piece of pie
I’m sure the staff is great but specifically the Manager that was working the morning of 04/29/22 needs to seek a different field of employment. I walked in to ask if there was a wait because I had 2 sleeping babies in the car and didn’t want to wake them if there was a wait. The manager herself told me that there would be no wait, so I went and got my babies and came back in less than 2 minutes later. As the hostess was seating us the manager looked around the restaurant and then ordered the hostess to go on at least a 10 minute wait. And then she laughed as she walked to the back. Needless to say we went to Frisch for breakfast instead. Such a poor display of customer service.
After being seated, we waited a long time just to get our drinks. I know by experience what the food looks like after being fried in dirty oil. Our food looked like the oil hadn’t been cleaned in a few days. The table near us sent their food back and it didn’t seem to look any better than the original ones they sent back. What’s happening with all these restaurants? McDonalds serves better looking and tasting food than this location. I know you can do better than this Bob!
There ok. The good, (Tara) a great job all the time.Bob Evans should stop and rethink what the take off menu items. And ask the customer what's good or bad.
There's nothing more irritating then purchasing $50.00 of food and to get it home to find part of it missing and not put together as it was ordered online.. no exclusions nothing Xtra. Is it hard to read off a screen? I wouldn't think so. I normally don't say anything but This is the 3rd time this has happened with a big dollar amount of food at this same location. Nothing like getting home to feed a family and someone has to make another trip to pick up the rest of your order.
Food was ok. Bacon was overdone sausage patties were also overcooked. That's the good part. We walked in and there were 4 people standing around behind the counter area. One wear on their phone. After almost a minute one finally came and took us to our table. After we were sitting there for 4 or 5 minutes another couple was seated right next to us. Waitress came to them and got their drinks before our waitress even came to our table. Then after we ordered she never checked on us until our food came out. I was sitting there waiting on a refill for at least 10 minutes. Very poor service.
The waitress did an amazing job and was attentive. The portion sizes are good for the price. But some of the food could use some flavoring and the French toast wasn't very much French toast at all. This location was clean and the staff friendly.
Arrived at 11:45. 25 min wait on a table for 7. Service was excellent. Food was exceptional. Highly recommend country fried steak and eggs. Side choices were hash browns or country fries but substituted grits. Grits were a wee bit dry but this is after all Ohio.
My wife and I both had the Dinner Bell turkey, dressing, mashed potatoes and gravy, cranberry sauce, and banana bread. Ample portions for the price and very tasty. The service was great.
It is my go-to place every Sunday evening , usually get a three-course dinner. Has always been a good experience, staff is friendly, prices are reasonable. For birthdays and holidays I always ask for Bob Evans gift cards.
