It's the best tasting shrimp fried rice I've had since I've been in Hamilton it was fresh fresh

Excellent food. Everything we ordered was perfectly done and tasty. The place looks unassuming maybe even run down from the outside. But don't let that stop you.
Absolutely my favorite takeout. Always a smiling face and hot food. Great portion for the money. You definitely wont be disappointed.
Neat little “old school” Chinese Restaurant complete with all the decor, furnishings, and charming service you could hope for in a “cute local place” or whatever… I liked it.

Been great all but one time. I called an order for pickup. They told me my order would be ready in 15 minutes. I arrived 15 minutes later.... I waited for nearly an hour after I had arrived. They have only done this to me once, on christmas. Other than that one experience, they have always been nice and fast and delicious.
I regularly ordered carry-out from the Asian Lantern, but no longer believe I will be doing so. This evening I ordered dinner and upon arriving home I realized the order was incorrect. I immediately called the Asian Lantern and spoke with a woman. She said I could return the white rice in exchange for fried rice, but I couldn’t have the egg roll because it didn’t come with the large portion. (I didn’t order the large portion.)dinner. When I arrived home I realized that I did not receive the fried rice or egg roll. I called the restaurant and spoke with a.woman who indicated I could exchange white rice for the fried rice, but I could not have the egg roll because it did not come with the large dinner-albeit I did not order the large dinner. I told her I would just eat what they provided as it’s more of a problem to go out again for just the rice. I told her I have other choices for Chinese food and will go down the street from now on.Regarding the food, it was bland and contained way too many peanuts. I could not take a bite of the veggies without 5-6 peanuts accompanying each bite. The flavor really was very mediocre.The bottom line is that the order was filled improperly and it would have been a better business decision to apologize, fulfill the order including the egg roll, and hit would have cost much less than losing a customer.
