Got a fish sandwich here and it was horrible, the dog wouldn't even touch it. It tasted as if it had been deep fried in oil that had been in the fryer for days and had every other food item they sell fried in it as well.I've heard so many great things about this place and was so disappointed, maybe I'll try it again.
My mom & I went today, it was our first time. It's a very welcoming space. The service was good. The food was good (it was good pub food, don't expect anything to be gourmet). The prices were fair. All in all, a very positive experience & we plan on going back the next time we're in the area.
Our waitress Hope was very friendly. Food was very good. Our first time eating at this Plank's. We've ate at the Plank's in German Village many years ago. So glad we found this one closer to our house. We will be returning ?
Be careful if you go to planks they have a waitresses that like to steal money, my very first time there in the waitress helped herself to an extra $10 off of my credit card AFTER I left her a $6 tip, she still decides to steal from me. Waiting for them to open so I can put a complaint in with management. They will never have my business again.
This is the best spot to go in GC, I only wish it didnt take me moving to AZ to discover it but, the happy hours are awesome, the servers, bartender and owner are AMAZING! Try the Bavarian pizza ????????????

Great pizza! Always kind of busy, but ALWAYS worth the wait! Tuesdays are half price pizza nights, crazy busy then so get there early.
