Place has changed way too much with the new ownership. Feels more like a sports bar than a family breakfast nook. Food was subpar and no more daily specials which is such a bummer.If you've never been to Lilly's then you might like it. For anyone who has then you most likely won't like its new identity.
Had kids running the place so service was lacking. Food would possibly be good if they would have gotten our order right. Or told us they were out of two things included with the dish. If you order bizket and gravy you should probably say that. But it wouldn't matter because the food was cold when we got it.
This is my family’s first time ever coming to this restaurant & was excited to come here . We were seating at a dirty table that sat right in front of the entrance door so every time someone can in or out, we had to endure cold wind ? . The young waitress that came to take our order didn’t seem eager to take our order, more so seemed annoyed and impatient.She was rude & had an attitude while talking with us about how we wanted our food and what we wanted for sides etc . Despite the waitress not having good customer service nor people skills, We were still optimistic that the food would be really good considering the good reviews we seen before coming here . I ordered the one w/ 2 eggs, bacon, toast, hash brown, sausage gravy with biscuits … We waited for 30 mins and our food finally came out, my eggs were not cooked all the way (they made them sunny side up when I told them I didn’t want mine like that) , I got wheat instead of white toast that I requested, and there wasn’t any sausage gravy w/ biscuit and no hash brown and there was chunks of potatoes slices that I never even ordered . And the food was cold.. how did it take so long and come out to be cold?? I don’t understand that part smh So I talked to the waitress and she tried to argue with me about what all came w/ what I ordered so I asked her if I could see a menu again to show her .. she continued to argue w/ me and then said “oh well.. we don’t have any sausage gravy and biscuits , we are fresh out” and said that she substituted it with the potatoes instead . I told her “why couldn’t you have told me that when you took my order then ? I would have just ordered something else…” . She said “I was going to tell you but just haven’t gotten around to your table yet” smh and instead of correcting my order, or offering me to get something else they said they will just only charge me for the bacon and toast .. they were very dismissive, and rude .. this was my first and last time going here. Was not happy with my experience at all .
Waitress was super slow upon taking our order, not only did our food come out cold but after handing us the wrong food they informed us that they substituted multiple things that we ordered but never bothered to check with us or let us know that they were out of certain things on the menu. When the food was brought out and we asked why we didn’t get what we ordered the waitress started arguing with us about why she didn’t inform us about the menu instead of simply apologizing or making us food that we would actually eat since we had to pay for the substituted foods either way
CHEAP THIS FOOD IS CHEAP QUALITY AND JUST NOT GOOD. i ordered a simple mac n cheese THEY CAME OUT WITH FRIES WITH LITTLE SPECS OF CHEESE ON IT. besides it being disgusting this girl at the front HAD THE WORST ATTITUDE she looked silly. this place is borderline GROSS. they spent more time on the decoration then the quality of their food. DISGUSTING NEVER ORDER HERE. then they came out with little potato chunks ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE. dont come here.
In very disappointed in the way this place is being ran now. This used to be a family owned business & you felt the love walking in the door. As of recently I do not feel this way anymore! The new owners seem to be very rude and rushed. I don't like feeling rushed when I'm eating. The service was all around horrible. My family & I definitely miss the old employees and owners. I hope one day this place will be like it used to be because as long as it's ran the way it is now today, we probably won't be making a visit to eat there anymore!.Such a shame.....
Food is always delicious. Try a lb of chicken salad to go. You won't regret it! Service is friendly and on point. Expect a bit of a wait on the food as they as always busy! Great opportunity to relax and chat!
Small town diner. Haven’t been in years, the reno made it more open and inviting. Glad we stopped in!
Super friendly staff. Very clean establishment. The food was hot and cooked to perfection. I'm very pleased with my Philly Sub it was delicious and the fries are mouth watering. Would definitely highly recommend this business. May God bless them abundantly.
Great place. My first visit. Friendly greet and seat. I had the Reuben with side of fruit. My associate ordered a skillet scrambler. Both came out hot and delicious. I will definitely be back.
