Great food. So glad to be finally visiting again since the shutdown from the pandemic.
Recently stopped here for Mother's day dinner, and I was impressed. The employees were attentive, polite, and the place was ran phenomenally. I knew it was going to be a busy day, so I understood the wait to get seated(still was only about 20-30 min). I myself just wanted to go enjoy a variety of food and not have to clean dishes afterwards. My steak was cooked perfect, as well as my husband. They kept everything well stocked, if anything the dessert section could have been a little better. Salad bar and fruit were also well kept, usually I avoid these sections on buffet's but this location served a great selection of fresh items. We will definitely be visiting again soon!
Had argumentative staff when we arrived. We had called 5 days earlier, and were told they did not take reservations, but they promised to seat our party of 18 together. Staff insisted they don't do that, but they absolutely DID. I insisted, repeatedly. Finally was walked back through the restaurant, with staff person constantly saying it wasn't possible, even though it was starting to get a little busy, but certainly was not full. We stepped in the room that has a sign saying it is for groups and parties, (????? Not us, clearly!) and the staff person stated he only had these two tables....which had seating for 18. Again...???? We were assigned a server, but when the rest of our group arrived, they switched servers. She did not clear plates about half the time, and filled drinks about the same. I asked her to take several stacks of plates, she took one small stack and went to clear a different table. I got up and cleared all the stacks and empty cups, myself. Most food was hot, and filled. Ice cream machine wasn't, and I was told someone was getting mix then to refill it. About 15 minutes later, I was finally able to get some, but Caramel sauce dispenser was broken and impossible to use. Overall, very frustrating experience for a rare family get together, and for paying that much money.

We're from out of town and we stopped here for dinner on our 5 hour trip home. The dining area was pretty clean and the waiting staff was very friendly and very efficient. The food was what we usually expect from Golden Corral. I was a bit disappointed that I got a cut of "well done" steak when I asked for a "medium" but the flavor was still good and I'm not super picky. The dessert area was in rough shape, not very clean and the ice cream machine had "mix low" indicators on both sides, with no employees in that area, but we were still able to get some chocolate ice cream out of it. Again, it's a large volume buffet so I don't typically hold super high standards. Overall, it was a satisfactory visit!
Called a week ahead of time to reserve a party room for 20, for a birthday. Was told to call back the day of the party to verify. As soon as we walked in we were told that they were never doing this for us again because they could have used the tables for other customers, by manager Bonnie, as if we had put them out by giving them our service. After this experience we wouldn't want to do this again. We were trying to be polite instead of walking in with 20 people to seat last minute. Had to find our own silverware, ask for drinks. We were seated in a back room with another larger party of about 40. We had 3 seperate tables right in the middle of the other party so everyone was mixed together. Our people were constantly apologizing for bumping into the other party and vice versa because we were all so crammed in. We had managers coming in trying to sit people at our tables the whole time. The waitress Christy did everything she could to make us happy because she knew how upset we were. We had people coming from all over the state and it was a disaster.
David was our server and he was awesome. You couldn't ask for better service. We never once had to ask for drink refills, or even saw the bottom of our cups for that matter. The only down side is the steak was so salty it just wasn't enjoyable at all. Otherwise I would've given them 5 stars. We were seated quickly on a busy night and received prompt and courteous service from every single employee with whom we interacted.
I have a big family of 7. I understand Covid protocols and such with safety issues but as me and my family were seating ourselves we had asked our waitress about a big table but none were available and instead we had asked if it was okay to join two tables instead, we have small kids so I wasn't too fond of sitting separately. The waitress had told me it was fine and I was very grateful with her. Around 30 minutes into our lunch the manager was coming in I assume for a shift change as we had not seen her beforehand. I would've understood if she had told me in a manner that wasn't condescending but she was staring and made it obvious that we were doing something she didn't like. She spoke to me and my family like we were under her, saying "do you understand what I am saying?" With attitude and disregard. We were appaled and she began yelling at her employees the cooks in specific and the people who were eating were taken aback. She also had to speak to our waitress Brittany if I remember correctly. She didn't have the professionalism to step aside in a private area and lectured her in public like she was exhibitoning her. Overall, terribly rude and disrespectful, my apologies to the waitress for having to deal with that in public and applause to her for taking it in stride.
If I could give this Golden Corral a zero I would. Your food is bland and trash.. I could've just went and got a frozen meal. It's embarrassing that for 2 people it's almost 50 dollars to eat there and yet the food taste like frozen food. Get some help..or better cooks. Your staff is also all over the place. Really watching you guys work..trashy unprofessional service.
