Got coffee and cronuts that were equally delicious and dangerous (it would be very easy to over indulge on them).Would visit again if around

SAD!! What seemed promising turned into a bad experience. When I walked in and saw so many roasts on the counter I was encouraged…. Until I saw the prep. Shots were bitter. Late was almost sour. Pour overs being brewed directly into cups of ice. Couldn’t even drink it! I ordered a breakfast sandwich and that all that saved the experience from being a total disaster. It was at least mediocre. I don’t live in Columbus ….. but I’d never return here. Super gross.

I want more than anything to like this place but every time I go I don’t get a welcome or a thank you from the staff. I always feel like I’m an inconvenience to them. As an example, on Saturday morning I bought quite a few pastries and several drinks. The only comment made by the worker was the price and then to call out my drink. Not a single smile or an ounce of gratitude for my service.

Decent product selection, no pastries on most days and the unhappy guy that works there puts a damper on the coffee shop vibes whenever I have to speak to him for my order. Also, it would be nice if he wouldn't touch his mask or any part if his person before preparing food, AND when preparing tea, don't throw the cup top on the counter, mouth side down. Put a napkin down first....yuck!

Great staff, clean and relaxing environment, and really great prices. Their "cronuts" are absolutely amazing. We hang out here at least once a week. Perfect location and chill vibes.

My first time to this shop! It’s winter it was pretty warm inside. My hot chocolate was excellent. My roomie thought his cappuccino was too strong and wow the barista showed up at our table with a new one !! And he loved it ! Talk about awesome service!! Great wice open space to hang out with friends , work on you computer over their fast WiFi and watch the traffic outside. Free parking available on street or in the public garage less than a block away.

I have stopped by here twice now when I had some time to kill in the late afternoon. Both times I ordered a caramel macchiato and both times the barista confirmed the way I wanted it made (i.e. traditionally or like Starbucks). Both times the drink was absolutely delicious. Parking is a bit confusing but once you realize the garage is color coded it’s a bit easier. I would love to come back earlier in the day to try some pastries.

So far this is the worst coffeeshop I've tried in Columbus area. I ordered a basic mocha with almond milk (they didn't have oatmilk) and all the syrup was at the bottom of the cup. For a hot takeout drink this is worst case scenario. How am I supposed to mix it? Further, the unflavored espresso milk was served molten hot. It was hot like a fast food coffee.

Upper Cup has a beautiful, inviting exterior. I wish the interior was cozy and welcoming to match. Unfortunately, there is an excess of uncomfortably open space and primarily wooden tables and chairs. The ample space would really benefit from some comfortable lounge furniture like you see in other coffee shops. The coffee is good and the baristas are nice.

This is our favorite local coffee shop. My husband enjoys their pour overs and flavor options. Their hot chai with whole milk are my absolute comfort drink. We also enjoy their cronuts and snails, but you have to get there early in the day to get them before they're gone! We also enjoy all the local art they showcase.
