This was our first time eating here, looking for good Margs on the east side.The service was slow both from the server and the kitchen on a Thursday night. Found a sizable chunk of foil in my food and the server was unphased by the discovery and no effort was made to apologize for the unexpected ingredient.Overall the food was okay and the margs were good, but not enough to excuse the service and foil.Would try them again, but with lower expectations than I would prefer.

Very nice servers and people. I will say it wasn’t the cleanest and the food was about an 8/10. I was overall very pleased!
Turned into a weekly tradition, love this place. Manager is incredibly nice. Staff is also very friendly. Cannot beat the food.
This evening was not mine and my husband's first visit to Mi Tradicion, and it certainly will not be our last. Though we are far from being considered "regulars", we always leave with nothing but good things to say about our time there. Great food, fantastic staff, beautiful place, feel-good atmosphere... Satisfied is a simple word to describe our pleasure in the experience but nonetheless true.
The service was fine here, nice and clean as well. But the food was terrible. They are clearly catering to people who have never tasted real Mexican food in their lives (and going to a resort in Cancun doesn’t count). The burrito was literally just a bigger enchilada and the actual enchilada was completely covered in raw onion with undercooked ground “beef”. Tamales and rice were microwaved. As a Mexican who goes to rural Mexico almost every year and grew up in Chicago, I’m offended they put “Authentic Mexican Food” on the building.
As I pull off disgusted on New Year’s Day.. the girl acted like she had a attitude taking my order because I called twice to ask about the menu being different online, strike one.. I said my name is Erica my order was under Eric, 3 times I repeated my order which took ten minutes. Food soggy through the shells meat cold order incomplete.. THE SALSA TASTE LIKE PIZZA SAUCE and I was charged extra for cheese I didn’t order, but because she already had a attitude I am not going back in there ever. Waste of my ten minute drive and 20 bucks for 3 tacos and chips and salsa ,,,

This was my first visit to this Mexican restaurant. I enjoyed the atmosphere as well as my lunch.
Food is always fantastic no matter the selection. It's cheerful and the decor makes you feel like you're south of the border.
