Headquartered just north of Cincinnati, this Ohio institution has just about everything going for it. We stumbled across the Gahanna store after dining at the 101 Beer Kitchen in the Stoneridge Plaza mall. What a "graeter" way to end the evening. Can't say enough good things about their ice cream. A must visit!
I was just at Grater’s and for starters I was not greeted. Then when I finally got up to the counter no one even said anything and just stood there staring at me. Then while eating my ice cream, I found hair at the bottom of my cup. When I went inside and told them about the hair, no one reacted appropriately. I lost my appetite and got my refund.
Great ice cream in Gahanna, Ohio just outside Columbus. High quality and great taste. A family business since the 1890s. A highlight of our visìt.

This has always been my favorite ice cream place to go to..I never been disappointed with their quality and service. Black Raspberry is one of my favorite. If you like coconut and chocolate together then I highly recommend you to try their coconut fudge milkshake...it is the best.
The best ice cream place. I always have to stop by when I’m in Columbus for their black raspberry and chocolate chip ice cream.The service at this location was above and beyond, I told the girl that was working there that I had a 3 hr drive and she made sure to put some dry ice in the bag to keep the ice cream cold. She was very helpful.
The place was tremendous ! My grandma and I went for an ice cream treat and loved the whole experience! Both of the people getting us ice cream were both respectful and attentive to what we wanted. The service was spot on and we got our ice cream within seconds of us ordering. They made us feel very welcomed The double double chocolate is sinfully good They totally have my loyalty. And the place is Ohio born and raised!
