Pretty standard Mexican fare. The only way to stand out is by how menu items are not canned. Fresh ingredients that are well seasoned is your best best.I of course had to ask for some hot sauce to put a burst of flavor in my meal. My fajita combo was a good choice. Fresh grilled peppers and onions to order. Proteins were salted/seasoned(not over salted) which tenderized it well. Shrimp was rather large. Just slightly overcooked, but that is usually due to being served on a hot skillet. Beans and rice are standard bland flavor to appeal to the taste of the masses.Fresh guac needed a touch of salt, but maybe I didn’t.I tried her entree of pineapple, chorizo and chicken with queso. I found it very bland, which is surprising for any chorizo. It sat atop a flour tortilla to absorb the chorizo drippings.If you dine on the sidewalk patio, your view is of a shopping plaza parking lot. Delivery drivers were continuously pulling up leaving their vehicle exhaust to flavor your patio palette. A gentleman who lit a cigar was asked to walk to the far end to smoke it until he was finished.They drinks are tasty. A nice recipe or ratio portions.PRO TIP skip the frozen and get a light ice pitcher. My wife and I love El Vaquero. I mean who wouldn't? They have a sweet grandma or elderly person who delivers you chips. My wife loves the cheese dip for the table. I enjoy my healthier go to option being the Guadalajara Salad. My favorite though is the El Vaquero Tacos which I recommend the tacos de chorizo, tacos al pastor, tacos de barbacoa de res and tacos de pescado. Come hungry or be prepared to walk home with a meal for later to take home.
This was my first time ordering or visiting. I ordered take out Shrimp enchiladas and a beef tip burrito. The food was good!I'd say if your making a custom order I'm not sure they will get it right mine didn't come exactly as requested .I just ate around what i didnt want or scooped it out.I think they are used to making items a certain way lime an assembly line and they missed the custom request .
Great little Mexican restaurant. Needs to have a larger dining area. I ordered a shot of Patron and if you KNOW Patron you know Patron. It was not Patron but I drank it without complaint but won’t forget it either
I don’t ask for a lot. Just ice with drinks ordered on the rocks and no chicken in my vegetarian fajitas ??♀️ Service was dragging for 4-5 on a Monday. Manager was nice but again, chicken in veg dishes Id expect an app comped at least. Will not be back.

Usually a great experience, tonight we must have caught our waitress when she was in a bad mood. The food was cold and not what we ordered however she did take off for one of the orders that was completely wrong. Walked by several times when she knew we were finished finally after 20 minutes she gave us our bill. Unfortunately I think it's time to take a break from a usually great restaurant experience!
My wife’s tacos are very hard and burnt where is the tomatoes and and onion Says it right on the menu that it’s supposed to come with tomatoes and onions don’t see none
Waited 20 minutes to be seated and then they forgot about us. Couple sat down next to us got waited on and then got there food and no one ever came to our table. We went across the street to Taco Bell.
