Wife and I visited this location on 5/9/22 at about 7:30pm. Was greeted and seated immediately. Hostess was very pleasant. We were forgot about and was only given one set of silverware. Server finally arrived and took our drink order and was back quickly. We placed our orders and had to ask again for another set of silverware. Received our food fairly quickly but it was not good. My 3 meat and cheese omelet was ice cold and the home.fries my wife received were not edible. Looked like they were deep fried and dripping with grease and were very dark. Never had bad food at a Bob Evans ever until today. It will not keep us from eating at Bob Evans restaurants but will avoid this one completely
Really nice looking like the hardwood floors. Good customer service. Went to the bathroom NO SOAP to wash hands. That concerned me. First thing I looked at was the waste basket to see if anyone else has been in there. And it was obvious there was. But I went to the counter to see what they say. They had the same reaction I had. How come no one else had said anything. If it hadn't been for the fact that I know every kitchen has hand sinks in them I would have walked out immediately. Food was fine. I can tell they are overwhelmed. But they are working hard. And have positive attitudes. I would definitely go back
Ice cold omelet and home fries that looked to be deep fried, dripping with oil, and very very dark. Server was nice and took my meal off our ticket. cashier was friendly until she asked if our food was good and I said no. she never said another word to us, gave me the receipt and we left. went somewhere else to eat. never eat at this location again
Waiter Christopher was Amazing, Friendly and on top of his game! Food came out fresh and HOT! Bacon included!!! We travel a little more distance to go to THIS one, because of continued service LIKE THIS!! Keep it up Gang!!
I get that there may still be a shortage of people to hire, but the visit tonight has to be the absolute worst experience at any Bob Evans.Both mine and my wife's burgers were mushy pink in the middle and not able to be eaten. We brought to the attention of our server and his response was "Sorry", but nothing additional. The fries seemed to be several hours old. Kids pancakes were terrible and the Mac-n-cheese was cold.$41 for something that we could hardly eat? Never again. Especially after seeing how many 1 start ratings they have had on Yelp.
First time ever…. I’ve dealt with a waiter being racist towards me. I was telling him go ahead and combine my friends bill with mines, I’m covering it and he straight up said , "I wouldn’t argue with her, look at her skin color…” I’m speechless ! The manager was very sweet, shocked, and surprised. Gave me 20% off. Kinda ruined my mood. Embarrassed and angry. Completely unacceptable.The waiter name : Christopher !
Most people know by now that the food quality at Bob Evans isn't nearly what it used to be but I will give them credit for remodeling their restaurants and making them quite warm and cozy. The Edison lights throughout are a nice touch and the food seems improved as well. Also give them credit for staying open during the snow storm when most other places closed early. Overall it was a pleasant dining experience.
The waitress Janette was very helpful and sweet to us. My husband and I both had the chopped steak dinner bell special. Not too much but quite filling!!! Worth the price.
We went to this Bob Evans on a Tuesday night. There were only about 4 or 5 tables of customers. The waitress took our order. About 25 minutes later she dropped off our check. I said to my companion "Does she think we have eaten?". Another 10 or 15 minutes go by and she passes by. My companion asked her why the service was so slow as the restaurant was nearly empty. "Oh, haven't you gotten your food?". Well, hell no. Do you think you brought us food? Do you also think you came back and cleared the table, leaving not one crumb to indicate anyone had eaten here?The manager came around later and said he was taking 20% off our bill. As I described what had happened, he took the bill and sent us on our way.That's not a MISTAKE. That is an employee with a serious problem.We will never go back to that Bob Evans.
