Came into town after traveling 8 to 9 hours from our home in NC. We got there less than 20 minutes before close after being turned away by another establishment. They sat us anyway and were very kind and professional. The food was very delicious and me and my family were very grateful for their willingness to serve us. I would highly recommend the food and service here. Thank you for a great experience!
Unseasoned vegan tacos ? but the service and drinks were superb. Fried avocados in the pic...they were amazing and refreshing
The lady who served me did an amazing job and I have no complaints about her! However, the taste of the food & wait time, did not go down well with me. I wanted to treat myself with some good Mexican food after a long time but did not get that from Vivir!
The food and atmosphere of Vivir is nothing short of fantastic. I visited here when it first opened and admittedly, I was not impressed. The food was bland and the diversity in flavor was lacking.I decided to give it another try and let me tell you it was a totally different experience! I probably come here a few times per month now to enjoy the delicious tacos! The price tag may be a little high but is soon forgotten when your palate is attacked by the fresh cuisine that Vivir has to offer.I was able to speak with restaurant staff and I found out that they recently hired a new chef who completely revamped the menu. I got the opportunity to speak with him several times and he and his staff know their stuff.The chef carefully sources and hand selects the freshest ingredients he can find and even processes much of the meat and fish himself!You will also want to try some of the house made hot sauces that include some of the most decadent and popping flavors. He is very involved and takes pride in his dishes.Please support Vivir and give it a try. I don’t think you will be disappointed.
Absolutely fabulous food and beverages!! Owner took the time to sit and chat with us. Bartender went above and beyond to get us amazing drinks. Would recommend anyone to try this fantastic restaurant.
Such a cool environment and awesome staff! Food is amazing and always new creative dishes to try! The margaritas are on point...especially the creative mixes they come up with! Definitely worth the stop if passing through Findlay!
Visited for the first time during restaurant week. They didn’t have the ceviche because the server said they didn’t have time to make it so that was a bummer. Margarita flight was very tasty and so were the fried avocados. The restaurant week menu sounded good but was disappointing. Small portions and not very flavorful. The desserts were the best part of the restaurant week menu but they just average. I ordered a horchata but never got it. We also spent almost 2 hours there which is more time than it seems to take at other local restaurants. I know places are short staffed but there were not many people dining during our time there.Overall it was a nice looking restaurant with potential but we were not impressed with the flavors, prices and service. Our bill was over $110 (for 2 people) plus a tip which is not something we would typically spend. It was a treat ourselves day and we left disappointed. I wouldn’t recommend it and don’t plan on going back but it may be a place that some people enjoy for drinks and apps.

Finally got to try this place out and so glad we did! Our server was amazing even though she was overwhelmed. The food was delicious and worth the wait. Can’t wait to come back!
Food portions were smaller than expected for the price, BUT if you are looking for something different, yet familiar, this is your place. It got the grilled chicken burrito bowl, and my husband chose the fish street tacos. Every bite was big and multifaceted. No disappointed here! Margaritas we're good, but the pitcher is stouter than ordering singles. Also good to note, the nachos and salsa are NOT free.
