I can't believe I've lived in Findlay for 4 years and just now went here for the first time!!!This was one of the BEST Ribeyes I have had in Findlay, or anywhere really. The cook on it and seasoning was so flavorful. Also, you can't come here and not get the chorizo stuffed poblanos. So extremely tasty, and you get four huge ones.I will definitely be going back!!
In different visits I have had the bacon wrapped meatloaf, mashed potatoes, a burger, chicken chunks and French fries and love them all. The staff is amazing and friendly and the food is absolutely delicious! I definitely recommend checking out The Tavern at the Inn!
Fantastic experience... Great service... Awesome Attitude... Good Food!
Need reservations since they are so small they cant take walk ins even if u see empty tables.
I don't know if anyone knows how wonderful this restaurant is- The chef is #1 and the staff are great also. If you haven't been you must go for sure, no doubt, no second thoughts. I love so many things here: egg rolls, buffalo chicken dip, cheese bread, pretzel with cheese, side salads, steak, potatoes, green beans, and cheesecake to name a few. I could add about ten more things to this list. As of right now they are not open on Mondays, I didn't know this and booked a room on Monday just to stay and have a nice evening. I will definitely return as much as I can there's so much more I would like to know about.
So how did I not know about this fabulous place. I'll talk about food in a minute but their whole business including the banquet rooms, hotel rooms, and the whole remodel is finally the thing they needed. Ok now the restaurant, Head Chef Jared, is the best! My food was excellent, just what I wanted, even without asking- so my expectations were definitely met and I wanted to come back the next day. I have to return to try the other items on the menu. Make sure you look at my pics the food was fabulous and the atmosphere is perfect. I loved it and hopefully to return soon.
We had a Findlay High School class reunion here. Everything was great.
Had a great dinner here while staying at the Findlay Inn. Portion sizes are generous, and the ambiance very quiet and casual. Prices were decent, Staff friendly, food came fast, and quality excellent. Would absolutely come here again.
Four couples for a Tues. night dinner. Interior has been freshened and brightened up since our last (pre-COVID) visit, but lay-out hasn't noticeably changed. Not loud - we could actually hear each other. The actual menu did not match the on-line menu, which several of us had perused, but it is varied and interesting. At my (male) end of the table there was a perch dinner, cowboy hamburger sandwich, bacon wrapped meatloaf and a beef brisket poutine. 3 of 4 were deemed very good to excellent. Portions were very large. Seriously doubt that my perch were lake perch, but there were 5 nicely breaded large fillets! I took half of mine home and the leftovers still provided a large meal. All agreed that green beans were over-salted. One server appeared to handling the entire room, so ordering took a bit. Food came out in reasonable time and all were warm - hot. There were a couple order mix-ups/drops, but seems to be "par for the course" these days.
Great food and great service!
