Worst experience. Order online for curbside. Got their they didn’t answer the phone and door was locked. Went through the drive thru to pick up and waited over an half an hour. Milkshake machine broke. Our cups had more pop on the outside then inside. Our burgers were cold and disgusting and we didn’t even get our fries with our meals. My son ordered a plain hot dog and they put ketchup and mustard on it. Tried calling the restaurant 5 times after we left and no answer. I would like a refund!
The lobby was closed so I had no choice but to go through the drive thru. After sitting there for 5+ minutes waiting for someone to acknowledge my existence I was finally able to place my order. I then spent another 10+ minutes waiting to receive my order. I was the only person in line. After pulling away we realized that they forgot a part of the order. We then had to turn around and go through the drive thru line again. By the time we were able to eat the entire meal was cold. The sides of cheese tasted they were old. The chicken tenders were anything but tender. My child wouldn't even take a second bite of the grilled cheese and I once watched him go for a second bite of mud. The burgers were burnt and dryer the a bucket of sand from the desert. The fries were still frozen. Literally not a single bit of this experience was pleasurable. This review is from a couple who had their first date at this very same location and who's nostalgia may have blinded us from the decline of this restaurant during our monthly visit. We have gone from celebrating our anniversary here, to having settled on never eating at another steak n' shake again. I would like to end this by thanking the staff at this location. Thank you for ruining a special place for us.
My food was great and had wonderful service the manager Shirley I believe her name was won my son a stuffed animal with the claw machine! She was very friendly and welcoming. We’ll definitely go back.
From out of town on my way to Detroit. Ordered three combo meals and three shakes. Got three sandwiches and two shakes, no fries. All this after waiting in line for 30 mins behind two other cars. Told the employee what I was missing. She threw a hissy fit and refused to give me the rest of our food/shake. Charged me though! Woman shoulda been charged with theft. I left so as not to cause a scene in front of my kids. Burgers were ice cold and appeared to have been stomped flat. I’m thoroughly disgusted. Ended up getting our dinner from the gas station across the street. Thank you for treating us like we’re sub-human. I won’t forget it.
They were short staffed but very efficient & had great attitudes. Greeted with a smile & thanked when we left. Keep up the good work.
Incredibly slow service. Do NOT go through the drive-thru unless you like to sit in your car wasting gas for 20+ minutes, sitting in front of the speaker waiting to give your order. Not a one-time occurrence, either.
Although, cheap and good food.... Not the best customer service. They're super stingy.
There was one car ahead of us and it took YEARS to order. They forgot to give us a kids meal we ordered so we had to turn around and wait forever in line again, all the while with a crying kiddo. We were supposed to get a drink and a shake but they only gave us the shake and refused to give us a drink when we came back. Just go to another fast food chain in the area and avoid this much disappointment.
Sharleen is extremely rude and unprofessional my food was messed up came back to get a refund cause I have to work and can't wait on anyone to do there job twice she told me she doesn't do refunds (probably because she's hitting the register/ stealing). Definitely the last time I'll eat at any steak N Shake.
Waited forever in the drive thru. Had to repeat the order multiple times. Our order was all sorts of messed up. Went to go inside to fix the order and the doors were locked. Went back thru the drive thru to fix a sandwich, get the missing fries and missing BBQ sauce... and to get more than the 1 single napkin we got with 6 combo meals!
