We were waiting for quite awhile before our food came out. The waitress kept apologizing for the delay in our sweet potatoes. They never arrived until our meal was finished. We had them put them in to go boxes. They were still hard in the center when we heated them up the next day. We weren't offered anything for the inconvenience . I didn't think the problem was understaffing because we could see 3 girls just standing there. Also, the menus were hard to rea in the dimly lit room. Usually we have a better experience. This was store CB0068 on 5/27/22.
Waited over an hour after we ordered and ended up leaving. Made it known to the manager we had been waiting an hour for our food. Her response? “I know, we’re so busy.” Pointing out the nearly empty restaurant, her next response, “this is busy when we’re short staffed.” EVERYWHERE is short staffed, we’ve never waited this long for food from an almost empty restaurant. Also, no apology was offered, no offer to comp our drinks. $20 for 8 drinks, an hour waiting on food and received nothing but BS excuses and attitude. Will never be back and would advise everyone else to either not come here, be prepared for shitacular service, or bring a snack.
There were 7 of us and we were seated within 10 minutes. Our drinks were brought out within 15 minutes of being seated. Our food took FOREVER to come out. We stopped on our way through the area and never expected a dinner stop to take 2 hours and 45 minutes... After dinner, my 9 year old asked, why didn't we just leave. My wife's only answer was "we would have if we weren't with another group. Never again.
Stopped in 4/1/22 no Hostess after asking one of cashiers if it was self seating the hostess appeared, took us to a table by front Windows gave us menus , then we waited and waited, place not busy,watched several wait staff poke their heads out of Kitchen area even looking our way, after 20 minutes , no drink order or anything we left, on the way out passed several employees, nobody asked how it was or anything, by the way we haven’t been in this location in over 2 Years because of the bad service but thought after this much time they might of got it together!
We enjoy Cracker Barrel. But we are really getting annoyed with having to wait inside the crowded store for a table. We don't mind waiting outside, if weather permits. Lately people make it impossible to try to get to the restroom. Cracker Barrel needs a redesign, for some seating for at least the elderly to sit down inside store for the wait.

Service was poor. It took an hr from the time we were seated to the time we final received our food. Food was good. Gift shop area was nicely displayed.
Well we waited for a half an hour for a food, which whatever but after an hour of waiting for our food the people around us werent even getting the food. No one that was seated before us was getting their food, let alone us. We have plenty of things to do today and cannot wait two hours for food. I know so many places are short staffed but if they paid people living wages maybe they would have employees. Or someone died. Seems like that always happens at Cracker Barrel. Our waitress was great as was other staff but something happened in the kitchen, absolutely no one was getting their food.
Came here for a Birthday dinner with a party of 2 and placed our order shortly after being seated. After more than an hour had passed and seeing 2 other parties be seated, served their food, and leaving to pay we flagged down a member of the wait staff and asked if our food could be checked on. After a few minutes more our waitress came out and said that no one in the kitchen knew where our ticket had gone but they could place the order now. In addition to this we had to flag our waitress down to fill our waters while we waited after she had walked by our table at least a dozens times dropping off biscuits and cornbread to various other tables and refilling their beverages. Was disappointed to say the least and by the time we decided to just leave and find somewhere else to dine most places were closed.
Wonderful wait staff! Pleasant atmosphere. Great tasting home style breakfast. Reasonably priced.
