Best Chinese food in town. I'm originally from the east coast with no shortage of food Chinese food places. When we moved here we found it lacking. Every now and then we would decide to order out and the result was always Meh. Tonight we decided to try China Garden and we were blown away. At first the prices seemed high, but the portions are generous and the flavors abundant. The sweet and sour chicken came all together, no syrupy sauce on the side. Each piece coated perfectly. The Fried Dumplings we're juicy and tender and the sticky rice, was perfectly sticky not dry. The beef and broccoli cooked to perfection. You can be sure we will order from here from now on when we are looking for our take out fix
We got the shrimp fried rice and my husband and I agreed it was the best we’ve ever tasted. Also, when we got there to pick it up, I realized I had ordered it from a different restaurant. She said she could expedite it for us. So, I canceled the other order. Really glad I did.
This was our first time trying China Garden, many friends recommended it, I will say the food was great, won ton soup was fresh, great portions however, my order was wrong, I ordered Cashew chicken and got chicken with snow peas , my hubbys order was correct! Guess it was a good thing I liked that! It won’t stop us from ordering there again, the food was good, but hopefully next time mine will be correct as well!
I ordered on line and put the bill on my credit card with a tip via the online site. Upon arrival at the restaurant take out window I was given the credit card receipt to sign with an additional 4% surcharge for using a credit card. No mention on the online site. I paid it since I didn't have cash. I will not return due to their deceptive tactics. I feel they prefer cash for tax avoidance. Food was good...but I ordered fried rice and got steamed. Crab Rangoon was very good.
Ordered spicy lo mein and paid the $2.50 upcharge to substitute for my rice. Got an extra side of lo mein for my younger boys. When getting there, they changed my ordered completely and gave me white rice and a whole side of spicy lo mein rather than the two different sides requested. Realized once I got home and my boys couldn't eat the noodles they love. They have changed my order the last two times I have ordered without calling to tell me and the owner just says sorry, not sure if they understand. I'll be going to Ming's from now on.
I really liked my valentines Lunch at China garden. I got the emperors chicken and got the spicy level mild. At the mild level there was barely a spice (I’m not a huge spicy person) so I probably could have handled medium. The lunch portion was a good price and it tasted very good. I especially like that the chicken was nice and crispy as opposed to a lot of Chinese food that is kind of soggy from the sauce. Also the inside is very nice and welcoming and the waitress was very polite. I will definitely come here again!

Yay..for you China Garden for making delicious food!! The portions are extremely generous..so much so my husband and I have enough left for 2 more meals for him!! China Garden has quickly become our new favorite place for Chinese food!!! The s/s chicken has 6+ chunks missing because the hubby could not wait for pictures!! The white containers are white n chicken fried rice.
Food is good and the prices are reasonable. The staff if prompt and friendly. We have been coming for several years and have always had a positive experience.
