It has been 20 years since I have had my childhood favorite, a staple to my early sibgle-adult life for many years. Xenia and Fairborn used to be my locations, with a couple of pitchers of good Ole Barq's Cream Soda! Sadly, the Barq's is no longer served, bit the pizza did not disappoint at the Fairfield, Ohio location. The staff was friendly and seemed to enjoy my childhood stories and banter. My family of 5 ordered a large cheese, deluxe and Hog Wild, all were cooked perfectly and my heart is once again full! We will be having more Cassanos from the Xenia locations later this week and we will stop by here on our way home next week.
Been going here for many years. Have to have our "fix" of Cassano's every few weeks. Service is fast & efficient. Pizza is outstanding and a flavor like no other. WE LOVE IT!
Been going here since back in the late sixties. A few months ago, we got our usual half-sided pizza. Half sausage, half pepperoni. The bottom was black with old burned on debris from their ancient oven. So we stayed away. Well a few nights ago we tried em again. Nope, were done after 50 years of patronizing this iconic place. Same black junk all over the bottom, & the crumbled sausage tasted off. Could have been rather unwise to continue eating it....pitched it out. Makes us sad. We both were just kids when we first went here, even before we ever knew each other.So, we'll just have to keep ordering from Chester's....the other place we have loved for over 40 years.
I love the pizza here!!! The crust is very thin and a little bit crispy. I have to say it's very addictive??? It's too delicious!If you come here, you could see most of the customers are the old loyal ones! That's a good sign for the tasty food!Highly recommend the pizza here!
The pizza was very good. This is definitely a local gem. Staff was very friendly and the food was piping hot when it came to the table. They also had parmesean cheese, red pepper flakes, oregano, garlic powder, salt, and pepper available to further customize your pizza. The slices are small, square party cut slices. I will happily eat here again.
They mixed up our order and then said it would be coming out of the oven in a moment. 10+ minutes later still nothing. We got our money back and left. They seemed a little out of sorts.
Pizza and salads are great. Picked one up last night on way home from work. Ready in 30 minutes. Hot and fresh ingredients. Last night was a pick-up only night (dine in closed due to limited staff). That's ok...glad they are open and we got a Cassano's pizza :)
I am a Cassanoes Lover ever since my Dad took us there over 40 years ago...Daily Rd.Location.I place an order at least twice a week.Cassanoes is the most Original Tasting Pizza!Wish they would handle the orders more carefully and consider there Pizza, Customers and there Reputation more valuable.Make Dining in Fun. Atmosphere seems too tense, older Lady there seems Edgy and Confrontational. Possibly the owners are complacent or simply not aware.Besides that5 Star all the way.!!!
This is literally my favorite pizza place. I make sure I eat here every time I visit my friend and family. I’ve even got a few of my friends eating there on a regular basis. Keep up the good work!
Excellent pizza, my personal favorite. The pizza is thin crust and usually slightly crispy on the bottom. What makes the pizza the best is the sauce, it is a slightly sweet marinara with more of a tomato flavor than most other pizzas. I am not sure if the sauce is homemade but it tastes like it in my opinion.Overall the quality of the ingredients is high and typically the preparation is top notch. Very rarely I'll receive a pizza with portions of the bottom very slightly charred, but those times are few and far between and the vast majority of the time the pizza is cooked to perfection.They have dine in or carry out options, the dine in environment is nice and there is a cooler with a fairly large selection of beverages. This is one of the few pizza places in the area that I am aware of that still has a dining room option, especially after 2020. Given the thinness of the pie, you may need to reheat in the oven if choosing carryout and your drive is a bit further, but the pizza retains its flavor after a quick heat-up in the oven.If you are looking for a pizza that's a bit different than the typical chain experience, I highly recommend trying Cassano's. Friendly staff and an exceptional pizza at a price that is in line with what you are getting in return.
