The Captain D's restaurant on Niles Rd. in Fairfield, Ohio closes 20 minutes early on more than one occasion and left me waiting in the drive thru speaker until 9pm to say that they are closed. Pleasantly surprised. While the chicken is not on par with Chick-fil-A or Popeyes, it is still better than any chicken item at McDonald's, Wendy's and Burger King. The fish is much better than Long John's and the hush puppies are unbelievable. I would buy a bucket of those alone. There was a long wait, but I'd rather wait knowing my food is being prepared rather than sitting under a heat lamp.
I ordered the two-piece Fish and Chicken. I had coleslaw and Fries, as my sides. The chicken was nothing but dried crisp and the fish was soggy in the middle. The coleslaw was dry and Bland and so were the fries. I will not eat here again. Bad food.
I generally like Captaun D's but not this one. I ordered a 3 piece fish meal. When i got it my sweet tea had all ice barely any tea. Two slurps and it was gone. Then i checked my food and it was missing a piece of fish and the fries were cold. So i park and then i go in and OMG!!!....there was a smell soo bad like sewage!!!!....i said nvm on the fish and left
Wow 24 minutes to get food with 1 order in front of us.4 dinners. The guy at the counter says it's not our fault?? Really so who's fault. No one cares.. This has happened at this location before.. many years ago.
I’m so mad I spent 44 dollars for my family to have a dinner and the fish was exactly how this picture looks nasty and old!! The green beans were like they opened the can and placed directly in our containers I contacted them haven’t got a response back! On top of my food being old they had me in line for over 15 mins just to hand me this nasty dinner I’m done with them! I will take my 45 dollars else where! My kids husband and myself couldn’t eat it we had to figure out something else to eat for the evening
Typically, the food here is in point; however, today, the fish was fresh; the hush puppies were stale, and I just threw them away. Disappointed, because they typically are delicious
The employees were awesome. The food was amazing. Loved everything we ate fresh.
Poor customer service and they did not have battered fish when I went. We also were in the drive-thru line for over 20 mins. Terrible experience.
Arrived 30 mins til closing time and the food was still freshly and perfectly prepared. Good fast seafood.
