Out of the Mexican restaurants nearby, this is my favorite. Close to home and great food. Being vegetaran, they accomodate my need. I have never left hungry. That being said, we still need to check our food to be sure communication was understood between you, the server and the cook. (Think language barriers). It gets very busy but the servers handle it well. It's always nice to see the same faces. This day in age, I'm grateful for them staying open at full capacity. Many local restaurants have gone out or suffer from lack of employees. Support your local businesses and tip your servers accordingly.
Great selection of everything. Good salsa & guacamole. Good service & atmosphere. My deep fried veggie chimichanga was awesome. Took my 83 yr old mother there....at her request!
Had a great time! The service was fast and excellent! The food was absolutely delicious!!! The drinks were very STRONG!!!
I will be reporting this place. I went here last night and told the waiter absolutely no tomatoes please. I have a server allergy. Sure enough they out it in my food anyway and my friends after she also requested no tomatoes. They had tomatoes in her rice and my dip for my burrito. I become sick. Started itching and vomiting. When I come backi demade to speak with our waiter and he thought the whole thing was funny and smiling in our faces. My friend recorded everything and intent on reporting this place
Still drooling thinking of this place. Grabbed a taco salad as I happened to be passing by this place on a road trip. The salad was beyond delicious and not the standard boring lettuce base but peppers and pico or some salsa with a perfect flavor harmony. The meat was absolutely phenomenal and the taco shell it came in was amazing. I wished I lived by so I could order this on a regular basis. The portion sizes were amazing. My picky kid got a tossed salad and actually ate it all. My husband loved his dish too. I would definitely drive out of my way to get here.
Fast, friendly service with good food. Nothing fancy, but the quality is always consistent. A weekly lunch spot for me and some of my colleagues.
I'm not sure what happened here; maybe we got them on an off day? The steak we ordered was grisly and difficult to chew, to the point where my family didn't eat it. When we told our server about it, he didn't say anything and just walked away. Our server was sitting at the next table over for a good 10 minutes, at least, talking to somebody. We never got refills or were asked if we needed anything. Another server came by and asked how things were and we told him about the steak very politely. He just said "oh..." and walked away to greet a family at the door. When we got our check, the server told us we could try to get a discount at the checkout desk. He then came back a few minutes later with a check that had 10% off, which, not to sound greedy, but really wasn't enough to cover the horrible food. They weren't busy at all. Between the steak and the service, my family and I did not have a good experience at Acapulco.
Perfect Al Pastor taco, very juicy with quality meat! Great carne asada taco! Beans are delicious and full of flavor! Great service from Mayo :)- I did not care for the guacamole (why 4/5 instead of 5/5)
Can’t put into words how delicious their food is. I had a the burrito verde, and it was packed with chicken, salsa verde and melted cheese! Their chips and salsa are good as well, but I was slightly disappointed with the guacamole—it over mixed.
Absolutely, utterly terrible food and service. Ordered the burrito loco. The guacamole and lettuce were served inside the hot burrito making them slimy. Terrible texture. Additionally, the steak was at least half gristle, inedible. Also very badly burnt. It was really similar to a crunchy beef-flavored bubble gum.The wait staff was also piss poor. They sat around talking to each other and having 15 minute conversations with each other and another customer instead of doing their jobs. I had to stop the waiter to ask for a refill. He sat down and continued the laugh-filled conversation with his friend without getting a refill.Two separate people asked how the food was. Blatantly told them that it was honestly very bad, and explained what was wrong with it. One of them just walked away, like he didn't want to hear a complaint after asking about the food. The second who asked just replied "oh..." and walked away. He then returned to say "Oh well. Maybe they could help you up front? I don't know." No one there cared to hear it either.All in all, absolutely horrible food (worst Mexican I've had) with the wait staff to match.
