Terrible experience at Elyria, Ohio Red Lobster from the moment we walked in. The hostess was not friendly and no smile or professionalism. The booth seats were both dirty from previous guests. No apologies or urgency to clean them. Then we waited 20 minutes before anyone acknowledged us and took drink order. Come to find out he wasn't even supposed to be our waiter, he was just trying to help since we'd been sitting so long. Finally the young lady who was indeed our server brought our drinks and never introduced herself, nor apologized for the wait, never saw her smile once all night. Refils were never offered, we had to ask after sitting with empty glasses. She had no hussle, professionalism, or customer service. I've never had such poor quality of service in my entire life. We wanted to get up and leave on numerous occasions tonight. I over heard her being short and rude with other tables of hers too. The only saving grace was another waiter Sergio's comedy. He could tell we were upset and I think he was trying to lighten the mood. My fiance and I haven't had an opportunity to go out to eat in forever, and I just wanted tonight to be enjoyable, but it was the complete opposite. We will not be returning to the Elyra Red Lobster ever again!!!!

My son took me to this location for dinner on Mother's Day. There was no wait and we were seated quickly. We waited as one of the gals wiped down the booth. However, the table was still a bit greasy and there were tomato seeds which were stuck on the table and wouldn't come off when our waitress wiped it down again.There was some confusion when the beverages were bought to the table, they bought my son's Pepsi and tried to give me a drink that was for someone in another booth. Then they bought out my iced tea and a different drink for a different table.The food was really good though.Since I've dined at this location in the past and never had an issue. Maybe it was because they were busier than usual?

My son took his girlfriend, her kids and myself and his dad for Mother's Day dinner Saturday at 4:30. I got the dinner with soup, appetizer and fish n fries deal. The piece of fish was hard and almost no fish inside the breading to eat, also did not get the coleslaw. My son asked for broccoli with his meal and got rice instead of the broccoli. We didn't complain and just let it go, the other meals served were fine. But for 100.00 (plus tip) that my son spent on us (and that's alot for a 26yr old). I really felt disappointed. The waitress was nice and pleasant though.

This is the second time we have been sat at this particular red lobster and were ignored for 10 plus minutes. Not even greeted. Both times had to flag staff down and ask who our server would be. We were also upcharged a smoothie even though our young son was clearly ordering from the kids' menu. The steak I ordered had a good cook, but salt and pepper would go a long way as it lacked seasoning . Don't order the cranberry tea as it tastes like watered-down cranberry juice. I would have requested a different tea if our waitress had ever come back to check on us. Never asked if we wanted dessert, we did and had to yet again flag her down but she did tell us here's how you pay before even asking if we wanted anything else. Definitely not a good experience for the $80 dinner. I could understand the lack of attention had the restaurant been busy but there were more staff running around than patrons. Bad experience.

Valentines date. Great service. My lobster was over cooked. The waitress ordered me a new one when she delivered my combo. I never got a chance to complain. Good job...

When I looked at the website it indicates “reservations”. When I called to inquire and make one, I was told no, they don’t accept them. This was quite a loss for the restaurant as we were bringing 8 people with us for a celebratory dinner. The bill would have been many hundreds of $$$. We decided to go elsewhere. Below is a screenshot of their site. They absolutely need to update the website.

my husband loved their bacon cheeseburger and it gives me a chance to enjoy my seafood. Great attentive service by Jodi!

Service staff is great. I had fish and chips. Next time I will get the fish grilled not fried. I like the taste of fish. The batter fried was very crispy and the fish flavor was lost.

Went here for my boyfriend's birthday dinner. We arrived around 4:00 on a Friday. We were seated immediately. The place was clean, our server Cynthia was awesome. Our food from appetizers to entrees was very good. Will definitely be going again.
