We have been going here for almost 20 years. It fell under new ownership about 10 years ago. Not the same. Order our food. Husband went in to pick up and they gave our food to someone else. We had to wait about 25min to get it. They did not offer to take any money off. Will not be going back. Went downhill since the original owners left.
My son told me about this restaurant not far from his house. The food is amazing. It's take out only. The portions are large. The taste? Amazing. Everything is made from scratch. Haven't had one bad thing yet. I will drive the half hour for their food. Service is great. Fresh made not frozen. I've actually stood there and watched them make the dumplings while waiting for my order. Well worth every penny. I'm so happy they survived the pandemic where so many places closed for good. Says alot about their food. Keeps you coming back for more.
We always order the sweet and sour Chicken and it is always great. The chicken seems to be quality unlike some places we order. Highly recommend
Hands down the best Chinese food I’ve ever had. I’ve tried just about every place since moving to Elyria but we always come back here. Hot food, decent prices and friendly staff!
Only Chinese place I know around that has shrimp toast. Has been my go to since I was a kid. Just don't like the new covid set up. The way to pay is a bit inconvenient with the little door system they have and the speaker system is sometimes hard to hear as it picks up a lot of background noise as well.
First time ever going there and was very surprised how good it was. I'll definitely be coming back.
I ordered vegetarian lo mein and got chicken chop suey. The chicken lo mein that I ordered was a meat other than chicken. Just a heads up for those who are vegetarian because of dietary restrictions, they don’t care. I recommend China Wok or Golden Bowl.
Ive been eating here for my whole life and I’ve never had a problem. They are always quick to answer the phone, quick to make your order, and have never forgotten an item in my order ever. I’ve heard a couple of things about possible health code violations but it looks clean in there and I’ve never been sick from their food ever. Best Chinese in Elyria for sure.
The place is under construction the food is nothing to write home about though they do have good egg rolls
