Remodeled. Clean look and feel. Food quality/flavor has decreased. Excellent staff. Marcus was beyond remarkable. Attentive but not hovering. Never felt rushed. That's not just us. That's how he was with everyone he serviced!! Impressive really. He should be the model for the rest of the staff. Maybe promote to a trainer for new employees. (If he's not already). That would be an improvement.
Service was ok. We waited twenty mins for our drinks, but after the server made contact she was amazing. It was super packed when we got there. Kids were suppose to be free and they charged us for all four kids under the age of three. I called ahead to see how much it was per person and they said all four kids would be free. I would have complained but didn't notice it u til I left was too busy keeping up with four little boys.
I am so glad you guys got Martin back.. he is very nice an very attentive..You can tell he loves what he does.. always checking on you to make sure you have everything you need..
It's definitely the nicest Golden Corral I've been to. Clean, fresh food even at 1:30pm and plenty of staff.
We had a wonderful waitress on Sunday. We had a large group with small children. I wish I could remenber her name.. She was attentive, friendly, and helpful. The food was excellent and the price was reasonable.
The food was delicious, a very good variety especially for someone like me that has to stay away from the carbs lol. The service was fantastic as well. I'll be back!!!
Having been to a Golden Corral in Florida a little over a week before gives me an interesting comparison. Both trips were at almost the same time of day, and both on a weekday. While I'd give the Florida location 4 or even 5 stars, I found this location to be average at best and I don't know if I can put my finger on why. Both had truly helpful servers getting beverages and cleaning plates. Both had the great signature rolls and the new orange entrees. The food in Florida was fresher. The items on the buffet seemed just prepared instead of reheated. It made a difference. Perhaps watching dessert prep while I ate in Florida gave me a true appreciation of the effort made by the staff at I'm sure both places, but that said, I'm in less of a hurry to go back now because of my more recent experience.
Have to love a buffet! Make sure you go at the right times. It's a buffet so I have some understanding and expectations that the food doesn't get replaced unless it's gone. 3 o 'clock is not a good time to go either, stuff may been sitting and they are getting ready for dinner. The rice though.....You got to toss that after some it gets dried out ,that soft fish than some pieces of rice were hard as a rock, its like woah,surprise!,ok, ill pass and save myself a broken tooth. Everything else was great ?.Friendly staff, clean environment, good food. Wish I stayed for steak.I'm not accepting invites to eat till after 4pm from now on?
Believe it or not, This place has had a full on make over! The food is very very agreeable,the prices are fair and the service is usually pretty good. Don't be afraid to give these guys a shot...You won't regret it!
Golden Corral is a good choice when looking to fill a big appetite. The food is decent and plentiful with many options.If you're looking to eat a lot at once then it's a good choice, but anyone who is full after a small meal probably won't eat their money's worth.
