Ordered through DoorDash. Delivery was fat and the food was hot. Ordered the "new" Bourbon Chicken (it's been on the menu for over a year). It was lousy. Chicken was hard and dry, and the entire dish had no real taste. Rice wasn't good - no where near what other restaurants provide. My first and last venture to China Wok.
Went to China Wok for lunch one day despite warnings from my brother that the food was gross. I ordered the L20 lunch special (double cooked pork w/ fried rice). I thought it was pretty good, though the pork was an inferior cut. Gave it a try again today ( Sat). Hours of operation on door says 10:30 until 10:00. Arrived a little after 11:00 and Open sign was not lit. Saw workers in kitchen and waited until 11:20 before getting out of my car and trying the door. Locked. I got back in my car and went to another restaurant that keeps to their hours of operation. Still, the food was not gross - I liked it, but it was only the 1 visit. YMMV.

Three stars for me teetering on two but rice is good lo mein is great and service is ok. So three it is1st-they stopped delivering (you have to door dash now)2nd- their plain egg rolls where the absolutely the best around. Now they changed to pork ,shrimp, vegetable and spring rolls onlyAnd the vegetable egg rolls tastes like chicken.They used to be a go to for Chinese.But now they have very little set them apart from any of the three other Chinese take out in Elyria .
Elyria is my hometown, lived here for over 20 yrs. I recently was blessed to have tried the honey chicken with noodles and walnuts at China wok ? AH-MAZINGI even used to work at cozzereas next door to china wok when I was a teen. I wish I had tried it sooner because I moved out of Elyria january 2020. Now EVERYtime i stop in town I get the honey chicken. ? if I dont, I go home regretting it. I'm in Dayton dreaming about china woks honey chicken.When I start planning to visit my hometown my honey chicken senses start tingling. I'm currently in Elyria now and getting honey chicken.

I ordered chicken teriyaki and this is what I got! Over done chicken in some watery stuff. How can you mess that up! The egg rolls were bland this was worst thing I ever tasted! 0 stars! Went right in the trash!
