Customer service- 0 ratingI am a regular customer only by convenience (for now), yet to be greeted by either ladies that work the mornings. Warning— You will never be greeted. Never hear, Good morning, Hello, Thank you or even You’re welcome.On one occasion, I requested a cup-holder for two coffees, instead of placing the coffees in the holder for me, she simply just handed it to me. And, as I was rushed to pay, I inquired about one of my coffee orders, should’ve been free, due to rewards… I was told, “Remind me next time, when you order.”
I always enjoy small unique locations compared to chains. So my wife and I gave this place a try. Chocolate (as expected from a craft shop) is prohibitively expensive so we did not try those. We got two coffee. The seating inside is very limited. They have a few tables in front of the cashier and a small area at the back. What I did not like is how we got treated there as customers. The front area was full and we asked the waitress/cashier/ shop keeper (one person was working there at the time) whether there is any more room to sit. She just said no. While looking around we noticed the place at the back with a table for two. There was an amazon box size cardboard box on the table but otherwise it was all fine. When we insisted on sitting there, the woman unwillingly took the box down and let us sit there. It should have been a lot easier to be able to sit a table that is available. This is rude. Otherwise coffee was just okay. I will not go there again
Customer ahead had a very large coffee order . We sat and waited for them to finish the 12+ drinks. As that customer finished, another customer walked in . When the customer was paying we stood up to order . The newest customer quickly rushed up to counter with his bag of beans . We were a bit upset after waiting over 15 minutes for one person to make over a dozen speciality coffees. The newest customer decided he wanted several speciality drinks as well. The person behind the counter had seen us waiting and didn’t say a word , just started to make the new persons drinks. Left and will never be back .
Hiding in plain sight, its an amazing place. Great coffee and of course amazing chocolate collection.
At the end of the walk around Dublin is this shop. A nice place to get a drink to walk back across the bridge. We walked down to it just to check it out and get a gift maybe for my coffee loving teens. A niche coffee and chicolattier would be perfect.We BOUGHT a bag and some chocolates. But the staff was cold and I've never really felt like we were welcome. Actually the opposite. Think I heard one complain about people using the bathroom. Fix the customer service vibe. Wish we'd just left.
Very disappointed in this location. If I could put zero stars I would. The customer service is extremely lacking. We were treated as if they wished we were not there and we bothered them by coming in. There was an older woman and two young girls working. The woman was rude and the girls uninterested in having customers to deal with. I hope to visit a different location because I was excited to visit this shop while in Dublin. Going there proved to be a waste of time.

I love the place and their coffees are good.Their baristas are also always super helpful and polite too. It's also a very nice location in Dublin next to two parks from different sides. :')
Really great little coffee shop. All the chocolates were delicious and i thoroughly enjoyed my hot coffee.
