Food quality is terrible! I like Wendy's and fully understand that you're not always going to get the same quality across all locations. I mean, it's fast food. You're paying for the convenience. At the same time, I do expect a restaurant to serve food that meets minimal standards. This location is terrible in that regard. Out of the last 2-3 times I made the mistake of stopping by, I received burgers that were cold with dried out buns, and a slimy mix of mayo/ketchup/mystery sauce smooshed inside, outside and all over. Took two test bites before throwing it away. Preparation was so terrible I wondered if the food had been tampered with. Service is generally okay, but the food is awful! Ironic that this location is right across the street from the corporate headquarters. I highly recommend avoiding this place. It's worth the drive to find another location.
Where do you even start with this location? Every time they give out the wrong order or give you half of what you ordered. You would think with the Wendy’s headquarters being down the road they’d have some sort of professionalism but no. I wouldn’t recommend this location to anyone.
I bought a crispy chicken sandwich that was soggy someone put way too much mayonnaise on it you ever had a sandwich that slides apart while you’re eating it you have to put it back together with each bite? First in 2022 maybe my last, my drink strawberry ? lemonade was so sweet I had to let the ice melt first, fries were the best part of my $8.00 meal
We had a late lunch, but it was delicious.
We frequent this location because it’s close to home, but we always get someone else’s order and never get sauce for the nuggets we order. Constantly calling to speak with managers to get things fixed.
Usually this location is great. However, last trip the salad that was supposed to have have chicken, bacon, and guacamole on it had none of them. The spicy jalapeno chicken sandwich was a chicken BLT. If my son's order had been wrong I'd say I got the wrong order, but his was correct. It was carryout and had other things going on that evening, I didn't have time to go back and try to get it corrected.
As the flagship Wendy's location, this is a neat place to visit if you are already nearby. There is a little museum with the history of the restaurant chain, a sign from the original location, and a statue of Dave Thomas. Otherwise, the food at this location is the same as any other.
When they give me the right food, this is my favorite Wendy's. When they give me the wrong food, it's still pretty good because Wendy's slaps. Hard to complain. They're faster than most fast food and they don't mess around in the drive thru being cute.I stan
The breakfast service is frustratingly slow to non-existent. Waited 17 minutes in the drive through and the drive-through line did not move at all. Finally Drove off to a sit down breakfast at Frank & Carl’s at Bridgepark where I was served breakfast in under 5 minutes.
The food came out fresh and made exactly to my requests. Keep in mind that Wendy’s corporate HQ is literally within walking range down the street so I’m sure there’s some pressure here for everything to be so perfect here. The restaurant is very clean too.Self order kiosk is convenient as well. They also have a cool mini museum if that’s what it should be called…. it contains historical items and info about the origin of Wendy’s.
