Menu includes a variety of burgers, chicken sandwiches, and more. My wife, daughter and I savored the flavors of our burgers. Fries and steak fries as sides were good, but I loved my small wedge salad. Service was friendly, and when the meal was taking a little extra time, our server made sure we knew we weren’t forgotten. I appreciated that.
Well when I got there it was packed and it took a while before I got some service. The bartender 'Dahlia' was very nice to me. But when I got my food though my burger was lukewarm and the fries were hot. So when I told Dahlia that she got the manager and told him about it and he gave me a discount on.my bill! And he also apologized for it as well! And for THAT REASON I will return!!? OUTSTANDING SERVICE!!
Arrived on a Friday at 1:00 PM with a party of 8 and was told bluntly, there would be a 30 to 40 minute wait. Any followup inquiry how long it would be, was to 30 to 40 minutes. Initial, some members of our party was told to either wait on the patio and in the car. It was hotter than hell so we waited inside on a small bench seat next to the hostess station. Finally, we were seated and individual orders taken. Two orders were almost what and one order had a hair in the food. That order was sent back and the customer received a second serving. I would say that the server did a good job and was pleasant. The two hostesses however should have a chance to greatly improve their communication style, That was our second and I'm sure the last time we'll be there,
We met another couple here and our waiter did not get 2 of the 4 orders correct. No indication that they would make it right. In fact we never saw the waiter again until he brought our check. The food was decent but still not worth going again.
The Rail has been a restaurant my husband and I go to often whenever we find ourselves in the Dublin area. The food quality is usually good, but we had a few swings and a couple of misses with our last visit. The burger - I ordered it medium well - came back almost burnt, as you can see in the picture. But the wonton was crispy, delicious as was the pulled pork on it (got the Crouching Tiger, Hidden Bacon I think it's called?). The housemate tater tots were unfortunately a miss this time. They had zero flavor whatsoever. None. I had to drown them in salt and sauce. Normally the provolone inside them is enough. My husband got some brunch items. The French toast was really good. He said the breakfast sausage and sausage gravy is "really porky" so only eat if you absolutely love a strong, wild pork flavor. The desserts were delicious, as usual! I got the chocolate pecan pie with ice cream and he got the buckeye pie. This place is definitely worth stopping at, just might not be 100% all the time.
This place is new to this convenient location. Went with a group of 10. Place was busy; Friday night. Probably 6 o’clock ish. I ordered the Rail-Avore burger medium rare, very good—couldn’t eat it all. Also got the house made tater tots, they weren’t bad but I wouldn’t order them again. The dipping sauce I couldn’t taste. I’m sure it was there…just couldn’t taste it. Appetizers by the table were Gouda Mac and cheese bits—good, and some kinda sliders, I didn’t have that one. Also there was pretzel bites—I’ve had better. All in all, I would return at a less busy time.
Love the Tots. They were killer!!
5 grain bowl with eggs and tomatoes was good. I only liked the blueberry mimosa on the mimosa flight I bought though.
Food was amazing! Service was great! Food came out quick! Amazing first time there!
I am in love with their mac and cheese. The buffalo chicken mac and cheese is great but for some reason I am just in love with it with just their plain grilled chicken, I literally crave it all the time. I'm not big on burgers but I really like theirs so this has been becoming my go-to when I want a burger. I really liked the lamb burger, the sauce on it was delicious. They have good buffalo chicken dip as well. I always sit at the bar and have always had great service. Definitely worth trying if you've never been here
