Love this place! When my friends come to visit from out of town, I always make sure to take them here. The drinks, atmosphere, and location make this one of my favorite bars here in Columbus.
The Getaway Brewing Company was where I took my brother for a part of his "farewell" celebration before he moved to Chicago.The cocktail menu is very refreshing and very tasty, with a variety of cocktails to suit just about any palette.The staff was also very friendly and courteous, and service was quick from the time I placed my order, to the time I received our drinks.Next door is a Mexican restaurant that you can place "airdrop" orders that are also quickly assembled and delivered.No matter the occasion, the Getaway Brewing Company will be a new personal stop for me!
I have been to getaway several times and it's a great place to get a beer. They have a decent selection of beers to fit just about anyone's pallet (if you enjoy beer). They also have a bar to mix up drinks that a fun if you like those. The staff has always been very helpful and kind. They allow you to bring in your own food which is nice with condado right across the street. They have a great patio area and it's nice because the cars haven't quite picked up speed yet getting out from the main area so it isn't loud. If I could have put a 4.8 rating, I would have. My only complaint would be perhaps a little better pricing during happy hour. They upgrade your glass size, but the price is the same. My only perspective is thinking about places I go like the daily growler. However, the ambiance at getaway is quite a bit better. I will be back soon.
Probably the most aesthetically pleasing breweries/bars around the area. They serve original themed and easy to drink beer and cocktails. It was a family friendly crowd when I went on a Saturday afternoon. My only complaint is some of their cocktails are on draft rather than made to order. If you prefer a standard cocktail however this is a full bar available to make it.
Honestly a cool place. Having such a light decor scheme in a bar is so different and actually made me feel like I was chilling at a far off hotel bar. The bartender was really helpful and the drinks are great. I had this really smoked beer which was really unique. I would definitely come here again with friends.
Amazing cocktails in a quirky, throwback setting in an old airport lounge style. Every little detail in design is flawless with great drinks and service.
Great vibe, friendly bartenders, and dangerously delicious cocktails. I had rented out the greenhouse room for a post rehearsal dinner gathering and everyone had a great time and loved the venue! Monica, the event coordinator was very responsive and easy to work with. Blue, a bartender, was very friendly to my guests and made sure we had all the drinks we needed! I’m not a big beer drinker but my other guests enjoyed the beer selections. Highly recommend for an event or fun night out!

Excellent experience from top to bottom. Blue was an excellent bartender & host. The ambiance really did take me on a getaway after the convenient parking. Most impressive [beer] "flight" I've had at a brewery in some time - comes with an "in flight snack!"
Great bartenders, chill vibe, free parking, and charcuterie vending machine. What more can you ask for.
