The people were nice but the coffee is terrible. It’s umm... just bad. Honestly, I’m pretty sure you can get better coffee at McDonalds. Literally every other coffee place in Columbus has better coffee. I expected better.
Nice space, but didn't love it. Had a chai which was very sweet and only 3/4 full. Asked for them to make something else which was a little more ordeal than it should be and ended up taking a really long time to make. Voiced issues to owners via email and separate owners called and emailed me. Didn't love the interaction.
Very good place to stop in for unique, delicious coffee! Definitely a go-to place!
My last time at Sweetwater's. These guys won't even give you a cup of water if you buy their expensive coffee.Response to Owner's Response:Although I understand the supply shortages most stores experience, I would suggest you use your ceramic coffee mugs and espresso cups which you have plentiful sitting on the shelves but never use for guests consuming beverages inside the cafe. You could also use small glasses for water instead of plastic cups. This would eliminate your sourcing problem, reduce trash, make your store more environmentally friendly, and look high class. Finally, in any classic coffee shop espressos are always served with a glass of water.
Great Coffee and Tea Drinks. Also, pastries and sandwiches and more.
I was in town on business when I found this amazing cafe. What a marvelous place to meet and refresh with excellent tasting beverages. The staff are very warm and welcoming. To the owners’ credit, they have an excellent team with a welcoming and family-like spirit.Michele, I believe was the supervisor at the time I visited and was so pleasant and engaging. Hanna made my drink, a French Vietnamese au lait, and she was so interactive with me and each person in line beside me.The owners here have created a beautiful place here, an oasis in the heart of Dublin. May it continue to be such a home-like place for a long time.

I’m always excited to try new coffee shops around columbus but this place is Just okay. The menu doesn’t show a lot of options so I got the first coffee drink that sounded yummy. It was terrible. And seven dollars? The kid working the cash register was so blank it almost fringed on rude. I am always cheerful and generous but I felt so snubbed. At least the girl making my drink was sweet. The place is gorgeous and clean but I probably won’t return! There’s much better coffee around and many places where the cashier will at least offer a smile or a “have a nice day”
In the Fall of 2021 the street between the buildings were blocked off to traffic for an Irish dance presentation. A man & women who said they owned Sweetwater stood outside & told people they could not stand in the shade of the building if you were not a customer. A woman with 6 children said she would by a couple of coffees and get water or drinks for the children. She was told that wasn't enough and she was turned away. How rude!
The staff was very warm and welcoming. Such a beautiful location and more importantly, Clean!!!! The restroom was spotless, I don’t know about you but that means the world to us! The owners were there, so sweet and engaging!!!! We had I believe the ginger lemon tea, hot chocolate, pumpkin roll, peanut cookie, apple cinnamon muffin, and raspberry…? We really enjoyed ourselves sitting there talking. The chalk board is decorated by one of their regulars which I think is amazing! Please support this locally owned business!
