I love love the ordering machines inside, i got anxiety so being able to interact with an electronic menu was great. The burger was so juicy and my onion ringd were hit and crispy!
I ordered the western bbq bacon burger and a large cheese fries and was very disappointed. The bacon in the burger is fatty. There was barely any bbq sauce on the burger and the thing of cheese for my large order of cheese fries barely had any cheese. (Have them in pictures so you can see what I am talking about.)
I had a hard time figuring out how to use the kiosk to pay with cash but once I received help I was able to place my order for the burger I had been wanting so bad for a few weeks now just fine. I absolutely love Steak and Shake burgers sligo there to fulfill that need any chance I can get!!!
My daughter ❤ all the Milkshakes finally a place where kids can eat more variety of food it will be nice if stake and shake introduce little more vegetables w/ some of the meals ? ? ?
Really busy Steak 'n Shake.Long lines,but,move pretty good.The window server very polite,and my order was CORRECT.Good variety ofmilkshake favors.Worth the trip WILL go back.
I ordered two large meals the employee continue to charge me for every single item separately instead of in the meals which cost me about 5 bucks more they did not get my shake right and they forgot to give us a fry. They drenched my fiance's burger and mayonnaise and it was so bad that he cannot eat it. My chicken tenders were very dry and overcooked and the soda pop was watered down. The only thing that was close to decent was the fries.
I am so disappointed in Steak n Shake. They used to have a diverse menu but have scaled it down so there is very little to choose from. My fries were not the good crispy fries they used to have. The burger was OK but not as good as I remembered. I had to order from a kiosk. This is just like other fast food restaurants with a very limited menu. I will not be coming back.
Ordered 2 shakes in the drive through. They must have been pre-made because he got them out of a freezer and I could not even get the straw in because they were frozen solid. When I was finally able to get a bite with a spoon it was not even the flavors that I ordered. Ended up pulling over at a rest stop and tossing them in the dumpster.
Service was quick and the Friso Melt was delicious. Only reason for a 4 star is that the everyone in my group received cold fries. Burgers and sandwiches we really fresh and good. Looking for the classic burger, fries, and shake? Also a good choice for a quick bite and not breaking the bank while doing it.
I went by there the other day and the Steak ‘n Shake sign was gone. So are you permanently closed? The food was great before Covid then it got bad during Covid. The grilled cheese I had a few months ago was not good as before COVID
