We go to this restaurant if Hunan Lion is closed. Last night we got Kung Pao chicken. It was so awful. It was Kung Pao celery. There wasn't hardly any chicken in it at alll!! We were in shock. It also tasted like a different recipe, with ginger being the main ingredient. The hot and sour soup was wonderful. We won't go back though. They are apparently trying to cut corners with the chicken and it was to such and extreme they should be embarrassed.

This place is ok, but I really love Asian cuisine, and there are several much better Asian restaurants with way more flavorful food within a ten minute drive south of here…

On a scale of one to ten, the Hot and Sour Soup was like an eleven. The 500-word complaint review is too funny. The party of 25 arrived an hour before closing, without notice. They didn't get great service. No suprise to learn they're from Michigan.

Unfortunately I was unable to come inside to order. Restaurant is requiring customers to muzzle themselves and wear face diapers to enter the establishment. What a shame, I drove 30 minutes away.

The food is pretty good, but their website prices are not reflective of what you will actually pay. (Was much more expensive than I thought it was going to be). I'm still trying to figure out how people give this place a 5/5.

I have been going to Sesame Sea for years and it is both my sisters and my favorite restaurant. This is definitely my go-to Asian food place, specifically for their sesame chicken!

From the moment we opened our food, something smelled like something spoiled. Like meat in the fridge that hasn't been cooked yet and its 2 weeks old! All three dishes, which were different, had that smell. We were thinking maybe it was the plastic or something. No. It was the food. This place was recommended to us. Who eats something that smells like this??? Sad to say, no one would eat. We just took $40 worth of food to the dumpster. Back to Sawmill Road for the good stuff!

Positive experience. Great food, atmosphere and service.

My family and I decide to go here since they have a 4+ star rating. Our party was about 20-25 people which they would’ve made a good sale with tip. I use to waitress at a restaurant and I would never treat my guests the way they treated us. Worst customer service I’ve ever encountered! Our waiter and some other staff were straight rude from the start. It took my husband asking twice for menus. We had to asked if they were going to take our order and mind you they only had us and another table of 3. They we’re only opened for another hour and a half so I would’ve thought they’d at least try to get us through in time to close. We even called to give them a heads up of our large party. They obviously didn’t want our business! They never came and took our order! After waiting for so long and giving their staff a couple of chances over and over, we decide to leave as it was getting late and our kids were hungry. Such a waste of time! As we were getting up to leave, our waiter was so quick to slap the drink bill in my sister in law’s face. Where was his quickness when we were waiting to order?! We paid for the bill of $35 for some juices, water, and pop! Even left a few dollars for tip. Honestly I was very excited to try some of their dishes but no thanks after all of the rudeness. After paying, our waiter had the audacity to ask us why we were leaving? Really?! No apologies and he even told us not to go back there. We’re from Michigan so we won’t be going back anyways. If I can choose, I wouldn’t leave a star at all!

They must not want business, because they refuse to answer their phone for pickup orders. The website is also useless aside form pictures of a menu with no descriptions. Waste of time.
