Reservations are highly recommended. All right just a bit early we were seated the house made bread came right out with their infused butter, it's out of this world. Had a really nice Italian red blend served in proper stemware. Had the House made Italian wedding soup really good then had the penne with sausage crumbles outstanding. The place is always busy but the service is always good and the food is phenomenal! Had the pleasure of dining here on various occasions since 1994.
Not the great service and quality experienced on many occasions previously......dine in or take out. My last order was take out.1. The individual taking phone orders was not very pleasant or knowledgeable. Seemed like taking my order was an imposition.2. When I arrived to pick my order up, the host was rude and not aware of my order. She said she could not tell me because it was probably being prepared...??3. I had her go back and verify my order (I had already been waiting 30 min). She finally came back and handed me the bill. I paid and tipped....wish I hadn't.4. 30 min later and 30 min after the quoted time I asked again ...I then got the ..."we are busy" . I have no problem with that if I'm kindly kept informed...I shouldn't have to ask.5. Once I received my order almost 40 min past quote time, the order was slopped together with food on the outside of the containers. Bread was unwrapped floating in the bag and no salad dressing was included. No apologies from the host....just a blank stare. Zero customer service skill.Again, not the experience our family has had in the past.
This is one of my favorite Italian restaurants of all times!!! I especially love the Spinach Lasagna with Spicy Italian Sausage … And the Bacon Gorgonzola Salad is a meal in itself. But don’t bother with the Spaghetti or the Pizza… the spaghetti sauce is invariably bland for my tastes, and so is the pizza, and the crust is usually dry, even when you ask for extra sauce. The Classic lasagna is good too. The best part is that they have Draft Peroni and Stella Lagers on Tap.
Our friends have been telling us about this place for awhile, but have never made it in until tonight. Boy have we been missing out! You know it has to be great when there are regulars there that you can tell have been dining there for years. My wife and I sat at the bar and the couple next to us were very friendly and made us feel very welcome. They introduced us to the bartender Barbie and the rest of the night was very enjoyable! Everything from the atmosphere to the service and the food was AMAZING!! We will definitely be back to visit Barbie on our Monday nights off. Thanks again for the wonderful service and food.
I got the traditional lasagna and it was like eating a raw garlic clove it was an edible. The only thing good about the meal was The bread. I had it delivered I wanted the soup and they sent me salad. I don’t know what to say. I was expecting something fantastic and I got something that was an edible !
Easily one of, if not the best lasagna I've ever eaten! Huge portions and made with veal! Their tossed salad was delicious as well, and our server was very attentive and friendly! Will definitely be eating here again the next time I'm in Columbus!
First visit and won't be my last. The butter and bread are incredible. One of the best salads I've ever had. I ordered the Chicken Moretti which was delicious. Generous portion sizes.
Great experience ordering takeout here several times. Recently ordered the sausage lasagna family meal. 2/3 easily served 4 adults.
I don't give a lot of reviews but i honestly have to say this was hands down the most amazing restaurant i have ever been at. The food was beyond incredible i had the chicken Moretti and it was the best breaded chicken I have ever had!!!! The soup was to die for and they give you so much bread which I am almost 100% positive that it's freshly made. I cannot recommend this place enough.
First time dining here, food was real tasty, staff super friendly. Salad a bit different from other restaurants side salad, large loaf of bread with garlic butter. Portions large enough to take home some for second meal
