This location due to being short on air filters gave me a room that didn’t have a filter in their hvac system. I didn’t notice until my second day when I found small white particles all over my things and on the table in front of the vent. The maintenance man explained that they were short on filters and they were on back order. The hotel manager Brittany Stone refused to refund my charges. I have video and pictures showing the white particles everywhere. It’s a wonder why nose was running and eyes were puffy. This has to be some sort of health code violation.
This is a beautiful hotel, however, it just did not live up to my expectations for the price. The hotel staff is not properly trained to provide the level of service for this type of property. I asked the front desk clerk where the stairs were located as I prefer not to use elevators. TWO front desk clerks told me they there were NO stairs available for guest use which I found odd due to the fact that stairs are necessary in the event of an emergency. Of course I found the stairs on my own after looking at the diagram on the back of my room door, but such a simple thing as where the guest stairs are located should be common knowledge to front desk staff. Second, the housekeeping staff knocked on my door at 8am on the day of check out to clean the room. Why would housekeeping be knocking to clean a room that is about to be vacated by checkout which was 11? Again - seems like a training issue - when you are expecting a check out you don’t disturb the guest by knocking at 8am, but rather you wait for them to checkout to clean the room. The bathroom lighting is also less than sufficient. The hotel was very clean and nicely decorated, but otherwise the hotel needs to improve upon the customer service expected at a Marriott property.
Decent, but for the price it could be better. The room I stayed in had a slider door for the bathroom which didn’t block any sounds and was hard to operate. The bathroom also didn’t have a fan, and not microwave in the room. Beds were good and the tv was nice. The restaurant on site said online it was open to midnight but was closed before 11 which was a let down. Small but good pool and decent work out room. Easy to get to off the highway.
Stayed here for the first time for a state convention. King sized bed—very comfy. Liked room 302, just know that if you were in the bathroom you could hear the whir of laundry getting done—not from the bedroom however. Place was super set up to deal with the business going on. Breakfast was in the bar, it was $17+ bucks for a buffet—I definitely don’t get seventeen dollars’ worth of food out of a breakfast buffet. Hot “eggs” , sausage links, taters. There was other stuff like muffins and fruit. No way it was $17…but I didn’t have to leave or build that into my day. Convenient. I didn’t eat any other food here. The room was clean, however the tables/or shelves off the wall didn’t extend long enough to be really of any help at all. No night light int he bathroom—I really like a light. I would stay here again, the staff were great!
Beautiful, clean hotel with amazing food. Attended a meeting there over 2 days and was impressed. Rooms and facilities were clean and comfortable and staff was very friendly. Did not use the pool or fitness center but they both looked inviting. Plenty of parking.
Extremely friendly staff. The gentleman at the front desk (I cant remember his name) was so nice and helpful. I go here regularly for work conferences and they are always amazing
Winter epic fail! Marriott Columbus Northwest management owes many guests an apology for their nonexistent snow plowing the entire evening of 2/3/22 and morning of 2/4/22. This was a well advertised storm days in advance, but I watched from my window that night probably 4 to 6 inches of wet snow fall and no parking lot plowing. Before 8:00 am, I told the front desk that my car in the middle of their lot could not be moved. They said the plows were coming. Unless you drove a truck or all wheel drive, vehicles all around me were stuck. At about noon a single pickup truck with a plow made one single pass around the lot. I had to walk the front desk person outside to show her my stuck car with no plowing near it. Not until after 1:00 pm was I able to get out and many vehicles got stuck just trying to get to the street. You can see my pictures. Not that it matters for the poor service, but a portion of a credit was never given on my charges as I waited half a day to leave.

We stayed here 3 nights for a conference. We were greeted and checked in Promptly. Our room was a renovated room with newer furnishings. The Room was basic with a bed, desk, TV and Chair. The worst part of the stay was the thermostat was hard to regulate and the bed was so uncomfortable it felt like sleeping on a brick. The hotel room and bath were clean. the shower is small as it was a converted from a shower/tub to a stand up shower. Hotel has plenty of parking and is located close to highway, restaurants and shopping.

Nice bathroom.Lounge was accessible for breakfast if only Marriott Tampa and Renaissance Milwaukee west could have offered the same.Staff for checkin was the night man.
