So this was my first time back since after COVID-19. What can I say the food is just okay. I just want to give everybody a tip if you're doing a takeout watch out for the price they're charging you. I had to correct the guy at the counter to change the price at the scale. Things definitely taste a little different. Back in the day the food was so good. I'm not saying don't go but you don't have to rush over there. Next time I'm going to film the restaurant and put it on my YouTube channel.

Local favorite, I love this place! The food is always good, better during peak times of course. On some Saturday evenings they have crab legs. The same owner has owned it for as long as I can remember and she has a lot of pride in her business. If they are low on something you can just mention it if you want more before they notice.

Not as good as it used to be. No covid protocols. Most the food at 12:15 was cold. Only the green beans and teriyaki chicken on the stick were OK. The almond cookie was good. Would not go back, but the items my spouse ate were warm. Servers were good.

I've been coming here for years, especially when I lived nearby. It's the best quality Chinese buffet. The food is always fresh and stocked. I always go for the crab Rangoon, and the owner noticed (I was here a lot a lot) and she would check it as soon as I walked in and have more put out immediately if needed. I've been super happy to see that Asian star is alive and well since Covid. I'm making frequent trips across Columbus now, as I know I'll miss this place when I move out of state! Thanks for always being a favorite! ?

Ate here for dinner and woke up that night at 3am feeling super sick to my stomach and have felt sick into today. I'm not sure if it was food poisoning or what but that was the only new food I tried that day. The staff were nice and there was a good variety but I won't be going back.

Place could have been better. I was here about 7pm and they already had shut down one of the hot stations. And when the lady took my cup to get a refill she was grabbing other peoples dirty dishes and then came back and my cup had an oily film on the cup and in the beverage itself. I highly don’t recommend this place and some of the staff are not following proper food handling and proper precautions. I highly recommend the owner to look into proper safe food handling with the staff.

Last time I visited this buffet, abt 2 yrs ago, the buffet was really good. This time? Pretty bad. Lower quality choices, less selection, and it seemed that many of the dishes may have been frozen and reheated? Nothing tasted fresh. Money is tight. Going out to eat is a special treat. It's an insult to be served food of terrible quality.

Horrible food, everything was cold right off the tray, the only thing warm was the soup. The pudding tasted really bad and so did the cream puffs. The only good thing I ate here was the ice cream. Everything else was super gross. Me, my friend and my mom all had freezing cold food on our plates. Im not sure whats going on but they need to retemp their tables. My friend got a bad stomach ache after eating here. Their food gave me a headache as well. Managers did nothing to solve this problem, and right after we ate they said "food is fresh", it should always be fresh. And we didn't see them put ANYTHING out. Makes me wonder if they even change it out like their suppose to. Anyways, super bad and never eat here, not worth the possible food poisoning you could get.

Visited for late lunch and was pleasantly surprised that the food was better than I expected. The buffet area and tables were clean. Desserts need to improve, but that is true of every Chinese buffet in Columbus.Overall, I was pleasantly surprised and will come back to test if they sustain it.

Pretty good: Fresh foodI was craving Chinese food buffet style and decided to head on in. Time was 4pm on a Saturday . They were pretty busy with almost all tables being used and two large parties (approx 10 people/party). Upon entering the owners asked if I’d be taking to go or dining in. I say dining in. I saw the price menu. It’s 11 for lunch and 16 for dinner for an adult. Drink is 1.80. I was seated at a booth.Cleanliness wise , the floor and carpet could use a nice cleaning. The table was wiped down but a little wet afterwards.Waitress asked what I was going drink and asked for a Pepsi. Well carbonated the first. However my refill came from a pitcher and didn’t taste as good.Food pans were being restocked with hot food. I noticed that there isn’t much seafood like it used to be. Perhaps a shortage or a strategy to not give bad food; either way understandable.I grabbed all varieties of chicken and it was yummy. Rice was warm and soft. Lo mein wasn’t so fresh. Had to go with rice noodles which was much better.Had two plates with warm food and then finished with a plate of fruit consisting of green melon, pineapple chunks, orange slice and watermelon. Very good.Overall, pretty good with fresh food. I had lunch price so price with more than fair.
