Food and service was absolutely amazing. I didn't get pictures of the sushi we ordered because we devoured it in seconds. We almost forgot to take any pictures at all because we couldn't put our forks down the food was so good. The OWU crunchy roll we ordered wasn't mushy like other places. The portions and pricing was spot on. We ordered 2 sodas, 1 sushi roll, 2 sashimi and 2 entrees which came with rice and soup for under $60 at lunch time. And to top it off, the waitress never let our drinks get below half full before refilling them. I will definitely be going back. Dunno how I will refrain myself from going every day.
We stopped in this afternoon because a nearby restaurant was closed. Miso soup was not particularly flavorful; egg roll quite greasy and left a waxy residue on the tongue, but was a pretty decent size. We split the Mongolian beef, which was quite good, actually, though not remotely spicy despite having two chili peppers next to it on the menu. We opted to have it over fried rice, which is where my primary issue comes in. I unfortunately didn't notice the pineapple until the very end, and had to try my best to eat around it; I have a non-fatal allergy to pineapple, and had it been listed as an ingredient on the menu, I wouldn't have ordered it. I've spent the whole afternoon itchy as all get out, covered in hives. This is by no means the fault of the server, since he had no way of knowing my allergy - but seriously, if you're going to put an ingredient in your food you should probably list that?
Typhoon is amazing! Here for the first time with my Dad and I’m so glad he suggested it!
My husband liked his ginger and tofu stir fry and said it was the freshest stir fry he'd had in a while. I ordered the szechuan peppercorn stir fry and mine was too sweet and thoroughly mild for having ordered it extra spicy (I guess it was Delaware spicy?). I combined his 5 stars and my 3 stars for a 4 star rating.
I placed an order for pickup, total was $100 +. When we arrived home noticed that the asparagus roll was not placed on our bag. Called to let them know that roll was not in order, spoke to Ashley who claimed to be the manager. Ashley very rudely told me that the roll was sitting there and I could come back up to pick it up, this was not an option as we live a distance from downtown. I have never been treated the way that Ashley treated me as a customer. I love the food but I refuse to support a company that employs people who are rude and unapologetic about their mistake.
I've been eating at this restaurant since 2016. This is my very favorite place to get sushi and I have been to many! Even the sushi places I've been to in Miami Florida can't compare. Amazing!
First time eating here. The food was delicious. Will be coming back soon.
The sushi rolls are always amazing. The staff is friendly and service is great. We have ordered other items from the menu and they were equally tasty.
Efficient if indifferent service.Hot and sour soup was different than expected but hearty and flavorful. The tuna sashimi salad was disappointing. Fish was on the verge of too old to serve. Greens were about the same. Tea was warm, not hot.
The food was excellent! Servers were friendly, with a clean dining room and good atmosphere. It was definitely worth the effort of parking ?
