VERY VERY SLOW SERVICE ON A TUESDAY NIGHT
I love Bun's and you will too. I stopped by after my son and I did sport clay shooting at Blackwing. We enjoyed the bread / bun that is the namesake of the restaurant. My son had the meatloaf covered with BBQ, it was fantastic! I had an open face turkey sandwich, the meat was fork tender and the generous portion was perfect for me. Our waitress was friendly, fun and fast. It was a great visit, I can't wait to come back.
Buns is a dark restaurant inside, which borders on dingy. The service, while being friendly, is unbelievably slow. Preparation of hamburgers took a very long time. While our waitress was very chatty, she seemed more interested in chatting with a group of six female customers than attending to bringing us our bill. I had to ask the hostess to ask our the waitress to bring us our bill, and then after handing our credit card for payment, it took an exceedingly long time to receive the charge to pay a tap and leave. That said, the salad greens are quite fresh, and the parking is quite convenient. Overall, though, just an okay experience, meriting 3 stars.
Bun’s is one of my most favorite places to eat. The staff is friendly and welcoming. I absolutely love the fish - any type of fish - on the menu. Good fish in Ohio is tough to get, but the chef at Bun’s does it right. Their hummus and tzatziki plate is out of this world. I often order that to go so I can enjoy it the next day for lunch. Don’t forget to order the cheesecake for dessert. It’s not heavy, just light and fluffy enough to top off a delicious meal.
It was a huge night for myself and now future wife. I called buns and told them I would like to ask my girlfriend to marry me there. They gave us our own private table, Tv, and server. They were the first place we went to when we moved here and I thought it would be fitting. They are a great family place and we even met the owner. We can easily say we will always make room for buns. Great food, great employees, great owner. 5/5 no question, best place in town.
Could maybe heat up the garage door room a bit. Pretty chilly. But always great food and service!!

Good food, decent pricing, good service. Great place to sit outside and enjoy dining or just having drinks with your friends. Great atmosphere.
Food was excellent. I had the stuffed flounder, and my husband had the strip steak which was cooked to perfection, which is a high compliment seeing as no one seems to know how to cook a steak medium anymore.The only thing bringing the rating down was the ditzy waitress. She came and took our drink order and said she'd be back with bread. Then she brought our appetizers and said she'd be back with bread. We didn't get our bread until after we got our main course. We had to ask a different waitress for more lemon slices and she never came to check if we needed refills. Not once. If I had been rating based on the service of OUR service it would have been a 1 star, but the other waitresses seemed attentive from what we saw. We were kind of jealous.
