My boyfriend and I stopped by after seeing some of the pictures in the reviews. This place did not disappoint, do not let the appearance fool you. It's a one woman show and she is killing it. If you are in a hurry or are just impatient then don't stop here. She cooks everything fresh to order right in front of you and the ingredients are freshly cut, well worth waiting for. Peppers, onions, broccoli and meat all looked great as she was cooking. We had Thai noodle soup, pepper steak and honey Thai chicken. The food and the conversation/her personality was great. Definitely has a mom or grandma's kitchen feel.

Amazing place, but set your expectations: It's a one woman operation, and she moves at her own pace. Don't come if you're in a rush, and don't call your order in (she probably won't make it until you arrive). But if you're in the mood to sit at a lunch counter and watch her cook amazing food while casually commenting on the street traffic, this is the place for you.I got the Chicken Chili with Basil (aka Pad Krapow/grapow), and it was excellent. Had a smoker flavor than other versions I've had. Also: The spice level is on the upper end. Her medium is higher than the hottest available at many Thai places.

Food was good. Service was horrible. My party wasn't greeted when we entered which would have been enough for me to say no thank you right away, but the other two people I was with had been here before assured me the food was good. The place wasn't packed. Just our part of 3 and another party of 2. It took ONE HOUR to get our food! Insane. One of us got their plate first while myself and our partner had to watch him eat before our food came out. Now I cannot lie. The food was delicious. We got the shrimp pad Thai, a Yummy burger with cheese, and the honey chicken. It was all tasty. But the service... I was disgusted. Doubt I'll be coming back.

This place is horrible!!!! Very dirty and grease all over the floor, the counter tops, and into air. We watched her taste the food she was making with a spoon next to the grill. It took her 15 min to make 3 burgers with fries and something with rice and sauce. It was going to take her 15 more minutes to make the order in front of us. Do not go her unless you have plenty of time, and you don't mind the dirt.I will not be back as this is the 2nd time I have experienced LONG wait times.

I absolutely LOVE Ms.Yong! My husband and i visited White Lotus for the first time last week and I was BLOWN AWAY! not only is the food amazing and authentic it was FRESH and everything is made to order. You will wait a little while but it is soooo worth it. She makes you feel like family and I genuinely enjoyed my entire experience so much so we went back the next day lol. Thank you Ms.Yong I’m so happy we found White Lotus!

Called ahead to ask her if she was open cause its a drive for us and told us yes. we get there at 548 and see her sitting on the counter and she locked the doors and wouldn't even look at us. I went to the car to call her and she wouldn't answer the phone. I got back out to ask what's up and she turned off her lights and went in the back.

This was my first trip! I ordered Thai Noodle soup and it was so delicious. Lots of flavor and the noodles were perfectly cooked. I asked for 5 out of 10 spicy and I'm pretty adventurous and it was still WOW. The heat builds slowly then pow! Next time I'll get 4. Will come back for this and delicious Iced Tea. My friend enjoyed the spring rolls. Owner/Operator works alone so expect to wait but food was worth it.

Absolutely Amazing. I got the best Burger ever from there. But now I have to go back and get some of Her Other foods. And She is a great Person. Very friendly and very generous. I will be back.

Lady was very rude. I asked for veggie fried rice. I also asked for curry in the rice she had an attitude. I asked for no egg she put egg in it anyway, when I ask her did she put egg in it she act like it was my fault that she put egg in it. Do not recommend. Charge me full price like I had meat.

Stopped here while in town for business. I was seriously put off by the appearance of this restaurant, both outside and in. I'm adventurous and have eaten many meals in local establishments all over the country, but this one pushed my limits. The experience is was very slow and service (getting a refill on water) was poor. Yes, it's a one-woman show, but when eating spicy food, water must be in constant supply.Watching my meal being cooked in front of me was both interesting and concerning. The owner is obviously skilled in what she does, but it felt more like watching someone cook at home than in a commercial environment, where standards for cleanliness are more stringent. Some of what I saw was suspicious. The food was very tasty and I enjoyed the flavor of my meal. It was interesting to see the owner go to the window and remove a sprig of basil from a plant in the window for use in my entree. Yes, it was very fresh. I ordered a spice level 7 and it was plenty hot, but I didn't find it unusually so.Based on food taste alone, this was a 5 star for me. Based on the whole experience, it's much more like a three.
