I'm not from Dayton and wanted to try a local brunch place. A gentleman took a phone order kindly and went to the restaurant about 40min later to pick up the order. Went cashier, and I had to initiate the conversation which was fine. I said I'm here to pick up the order, and she goes, "for..?" instead of saying can I have your name and such. I paid with a card, and she asked if I want a receipt, I said no, and she goes "ok...?" I was hoping to hear something like "someone is going to bring the food out here" and such, but no instruction was given. She was ready to take the next customer's bill behind me. I had to ask because I was standing awkwardly not knowing if the food is ready or not.She finally brought the food and I came back to my hotel room. They got the all food right, but there are no utensils and no napkins. I ordered scrambled eggs, and it was leaking from the white to-go box. If this was my home, that wouldn't be a problem, but I had to go down to the hotel lobby and get some utensils and napkins.I could tell that they don't do much take-out service. Food contains potential water or liquid they should put them in foil before putting in to-go box.Don't get me wrong, food was great. I got a strawberry pancake and it was great, if I'm coming back again to town, I might try dine-in, but not take out.Overall, it was pretty crowded around 11 am, there were 6 people waiting to be seated. I think they have enough parking space though. The pancake was good, but just a little lack of professionalism in customer service.

Felt a little bit swindled going to check out today. A kids fruit cup is $5! (not even the bowl size) Tried to have a good time with my son on mother's Day weekend. I simply said the fruit cup seems a bit high I didn't know how much it was and it seemed like it was included. I talked to two separate people about this they didn't take it off my check or anything. The whole check was a bit high. I thought my bill was going to come in under $20 but it was $30. They just kept telling me "well that's the price". Not very good customer service I've had much better especially back in Oregon where they have the original pancake House! (They have much better customer service at the Beaverton pancake House in Oregon)

This is my favorite breakfast place! Amazing food and service! We always come here on Sundays for our breakfast meals!

Our server definitely did not want to be at her job which makes for an unpleasant experience. And this Dutch baby that everyone has commented on, is 15$ and takes 40 min to make tasted very bland and left much to be desired. We had 6 people at the table and ordered one to share. Nobody took more than one bite of it. My omelet tasted ok, nothing to write home about. Pancakes were fine as well. Everything seemed a bit overpriced. Dont expect to go back. I have much better experiences at waffle house than this place.

Amazing service with a smile.. tastey breakfast as well. I highly recommend this location.

We took our daughter, who had never been there. We had a great time. My build you own scrambled eggs with cheddar, bacon, and sun dried tomatoes were amazing! Did I mention that three small pancakes came with the order? Our daughter ate a Playa crepe, and my husband ate build your own, with ham, cheddar, and mushrooms. His also came with three small pancakes. Wonderful breakfast. Great service, too!

I come here every couple weeks to meet a friend. This is his favorite spot. The food is good. I usually just get a basic breakfast. It's good every time. The service is fantastic. It can't be easy dealing with the public early in the morning. The servers are always pleasant, smiling, and take great care of their tables.

It was my wife's first Dutch baby. The slightly eggy slightly sweet, cross between a souffle and a crepe was to die for. In reality order one to be split between two to four people. The pancakes are always fluffy. The above was the good. But now for the bad. The bacon, which is quite expensive ($6.79 for 4 strips). Is a zero. I think it was rated utility bacon. Get the ham.. The coffee at best was OK. At $3.20 a cup I want a bold roast, not weak generic Joe

The place was super busy at 9am on a Saturday morning. I had to wait 20 min. The place was loud. My server was exceptional and her recommendations were spot on. I got the Cherry Kijafa Crepes (single). The cherry had a decent amount of sweetness but the crepe was a bit sweet for me. But it was very good. I also got the Danish Garden (5/5) very very nice. Amazing flavor, fluffy like a pillow and had a nice bite to it. It’s a must try item. The coffee was also good. Overall a great place, but be prepared to wait.

Food was good. Worst coffee I have ever had as it was so weak that it looked like iced tea. Asked waitress, who was very polite, and said she knows it is an issue but that is the way they make it and she is not allowed to alter. She even said she tried to accommodate a customer and got in trouble for doing so. She fully admitted that it is a very common complaint and apologized but could not do anything about it.
