I dunno if this is the SONIC on Wilmington Pike or not. But I just did a door dash & they didn't even give me the right order, then the "manager" tried to come out the drive-thru door & proceeded to give me an attitude for their mess up, then tried to blame me. He also decided to cuss me out, told me to take my fake a** sh*t elsewhere & told me he would slap tf out of me???I dunno wtf is going on at this location but I promise you I will never, ever return! AVOID THIS LOCATION LIKE THE PLAGUE FOLKS. Not only do I have issues every time I've been here, but most the staff are not nice either. So "under new management" ??I dunno what management thinks it's ok to do that type of crap to anyone.
If you get what you order, be thankfull. 9 times out if 10 you will not ! Don't change anything that is regular. Any change will not be done! Not to mention how slow they are. The staff has been very rude at times like their bothered that you are there. Not a big fan of this location and very seldom patronize other ones. It's a shame because we like their product when they get it right. Just have to check and insist to get what you wanted. Just can not drive away and get what you order.
Is there only one employee? During my visit today, I only saw one guy and he was doing literally everything. Why is there only 1 employee? Kudos to him for even showing up, and if there is someone else working, were they hiding? Poor guy. I hope he's making the wage of 5 employees. This was during lunch as well, and people get angry about their food, it's ridiculous, so for it to be all put onto one employee....and for people who complain, give him a break, I'd like you to see you run the place by yourself and get everything perfect. It seems like this wouldn't be his first time being alone either....
Ordered 2 slushies. An employee was standing outside talking to someone in a car that I had to wait behind. When the car pulled up to the window the same employee continued to chat with the driver of the car through the drive through while I waited. Eventually another employee bypassed the drive through and walked out to take my card and give me my order. I said "what the hell is going on there?" She replied, OH, they're friends.
We ordered through the app, no available stalls because they’re all blocked off to park in so I walked up to the outside patio to get my order. They told me to go through the drive through line in order to get my order which is wrapping all the way around the building.This is unacceptable for a service, as it took around 25 minutes to get six slushes that I prepaid for. If I would have see a line like that I would have driven away.This is embarrassing for a place under “new management”. Speculation is they likely are unstaffed like many places these days, perhaps they should pay a good living wage. ??♂️
I asked for extra extra cheese was charges 1.38 for the extra cheese was handed this sloppy mess no bag no napkins no fork to help. The mustard was everywhere except the COLD hot dog! It's no wonder I quit going there a yr ago.. won't be back anytime soon! And to top it off I was sick to my stomach the rest of the day!
Actually I'm impressed ? the food was smoking hot fresh and the burger was nice and crispy on the edge with good flavor.
Ordered on the app arrived at the appointed time. Waited 10 minutes. Employee came out and said no bananas for the banana shakes we ordered. So we said do chocolate. Had to wait for those. Got home and the patty melts were like hockey pucks. Sad situation at this place. Go elsewhere.
Really good food, the people who work there are nice and helpful. Only reason it's a 4/5 is because a couple of times I got a really stale bun.
I can't rate zero...Took money off app, closed store, no food, no apologies...why if you take my money, can't I get a legit response. Either the store closed early or the app needs updated. My order said it was completed today... That is very incorrect!! I just want to feel like a person. It was my kids dinner and nothing to show now.
