Red Argentinian grilled shrimps were delicious, also the rainbow trout was super tasty & healthy, combined with steamed broccoli and salad!!!
I placed a curbside order for the Shrimp Linguini Family Meal. I received my order and politely asked the associate if the extra Alfredo sauce I requested was added to the order. She walked away saying that it was added on. I checked my order and noticed there was no sauce on the pasta and the extra sauce was missing. I called and asked to speak to the manager. The man on the line stated his name was Ronald and that he was the manager. I told him that my pasta was dry and there was no extra sauce. The manager explained that what I was saying was not true because he made my order. He then said what’s your ticket and I can see if you were charged. I told him and he said well I can charge you for extra sauce. I responded that I’m okay paying for extra sauce but the noodles I had are dry. I said I can come in and show you what I see. He said I know there’s sauce in it but it’s congealed in the pasta. I asked if it was on the bottom because I couldn’t see it. He said no the right portion was added. I told him I was coming in and he said he would meet me up front. I came in and took the pasta out to show him and he said he didn’t need to see it because it was right because he prepared it. He then explained the cheese congealing & that I needed to pay for more sauce. I again asked him to look and he refused and went on explaining the portions in a condescending tone as if I had trouble comprehending. At no point did he look at it and he never apologized. I told him that he wasn’t being customer friendly and that I would never treat a customer the way he treated me. He said I’m not being rude you got the right portion. I then said the pasta was so dry I thought they made a mistake and gave me shrimp scampi & he said do you want to pay for more sauce. I said no I’d like a refund. Ronald at no point apologized and continued to discount my complaint. Had he apologized and asked what he could do to make it right I would’ve believed he cared. I use to frequent the Miller Lane location and couldn’t remember why I stopped and was quickly reminded by friends the lack of customer service and poor quality of food. I was not fully refunded as he didn’t return the tip and in a condescending tone that it will take 5 days to get my refund.
It was Great food, great server
Sometimes you want some seafood and not need to dress up to go somewhere fancy, and there’s only so many options for that in Dayton. The food was reasonably good, that Bar Harbor lobster bake has a little bit of everything in it. The biscuits, of course, are the best thing there. Service was decent, though not amazing, and I think a lot of that was getting someone relatively new who will likely improve with time because there was clearly effort going into it. This place isn’t going to keep up with those places by the coast up in New England, but this is Ohio and it still tastes pretty good.
Ultimate meal ordered, Admiral delivered. Over cooked greasy deep fried, mess. Cesar salads had rotten leaves. $35 meal, absolutely nasty. Contacted manager, offered $10 gift certificate. Lesson learned never again.
We did a wait list time for 5:30. Arrived at 5:10. Put our name in that we were there. Told we would be seated in about 10 minutes. 5 other groups of people came in after we did and put their name on the list. They were each told 30-45 minute wait. Meanwhile a group of two adults and two children came in. One of the Servers, Caleb was his name, went up shook the hand of the man from the above group, picked up two menus and said in front a full waiting lobby, “ I’m going to take them back, they are friends of mine”. My sister went to the hostess desk and said No you aren’t, there are people waiting ahead of them. The Manager walked up and said no, Caleb, you can’t do that , they have to wait. When the Manager walked away, he signaled them and took them to a table before 18 others waiting. After 5 tables were seated that arrived AFTER WE DID, we were finally taken to a table. Spoke to the Manager table side and although very polite, it was clear nothing would be done to resolve the issues. SO……. If you want to bypass all the people waiting for a table at Red Lobster on Miller Lane Dayton Ohio, just go in and ask for CALEB!!! You’ll be seated right away. On a side note , food was very good and we had a very nice sever named Emily.

Great food, reasonable prices. We had a party of seven and it took over an hour to get our food. Staff looked full. But fun time with family and newer server.
Birthday Celebration. All I can say is it was all good. Donnie the waiter was extra ordinary. He's a keeper. God bless you all. And thanks again for a wonderful CELEBRATION.
IT WAS THE BEST TIME AND THE FOOD WAS AMAZING! ONE MORE THING THE STAFF WAS AWESOME AND SO MUCH LOVE AND JOY...
