Potbelly has decent subs, but the customer service is pretty abysmal. This store closes early during the summer as UD is out, but don't update their hours online. This led to me being charged for a sub I ordered online after the store had already closed. I had to email customer service multiple times to try to get a refund, and eventually the store manager called me, advised she would get the refund processed. She then offered me two free subs next time I came in for the inconvenience. I week later I called into collect the free subs, but the MOD said she had no idea what I was talking about and that she would not honor the offer. Pretty disappointed.
First timr every coming here. I order soup that wasn't hot enough to serve but the rest of my meal wad great
First timer at the sandwich shop. Had a BLTA (avocado) and it was decent. Bacon was a little overdone for me. Great friendly staff!!
I didn't get my crackers with my chili. I like the one at The Greene better.
Tried Potbelly Sandwich Shop on Brown St. I just wanted something kind of plain, but still wanted to try something new to me. Their mac & cheese is similar to Panera Bread's, but I would say that Panera's is better. I was not a fan of their sandwich bread. It's supposed to be plain white bread, but it was really oniony or something. I couldn't quite put my finger on it. A "BIG" size sub made for three meals. I didn't love it, didn't hate it. Overall everything was okay.
I had 2 Separate orders for Carryout. The First was ready when I walked in, the other wasn't ready after 20 mins!!!???? So I canceled it! I worked in a restaurant for over a decade so I get it!!!! The problem is they weren't that busy, and there was an obvious lack of communication between Employees working takeout, and actual food preparers/Sub makers.
They always cancel my Uber eats order when I order 2 hours before they close.
This place has my favorite soups! Broccoli cheese and the chicken pot pie. I usually order online for pick up and it’s very fast I ordered from ActiveMenus!
I don't like giving 5 stars, nothing is perfect. Potbelly earned these and easily surpassed the "just a sub shop" label. There is a limited menu, but every item on that menu is thought out. Try the soup. We ordered all of them (it took us two orders). Chicken pot pie soup was the winner here, followed by the Chili, then the Brocolli Cheese soup. The vegetable soup was also good, but don't expect a soup where the cabinets were emptied of all the canned vegetables, they use real, fresh, available vegetables and the result is fantastic. I must warn you though, if you order a sub, be aware that the hot peppers are HOT, and they are not for people who don't want their lips, ears, eyes and mouth to be on fire! The sandwiches are generous, the bread is fresh, and they package for a great delivery experience through DoorDash. This is a great alternative for the subs we have settled for these past many years
I love potbelly sandwiches! I wish you would add black olives to your topping selection!
