Three weeks ago I had my brother drive us to Trader Joes for some grocery shopping. After we were done I saw this pizza place and decided I wanted to try their pizza. The parking lot was full and to me that was a good sign. Once we got in I noticed the place was spacious and deteriorating. Most of the people eating there were old people. The dining room felt like it had remained unchanged since they originally opened. Which must have been in the 70's or 80's. I'm guessing 70's. It was just very dated.Looking over the prices I thought this place must be pretty good if they are charging $20 for a 12 inch pizza. Boy was I wrong. First I noticed that all the pizza sauce was from industrial cans of sauce. I'm not certain but I don't think the ingredients were fresh nor the pizza dough. I got a bacon and pepperoni with cheese. It was good but not great.Overall the pizza was very overpriced and very underwhelming. It tasted like a sad pizza that only someone with the munchies (after smoking too many joints) would want to eat this slop. Our pizza took 20 minutes to make despite there being 6 people working in the small kitchen and that most chain pizza places can have a pizza ready in 10 minutes.I won't be eating here again. It was good to try but that is it. Pizza made for old people who are sad at life and don't care for their taste buds.
Excellent service and my order taker Jordan was very pleasant high-quality definitely recommend this location
Really like the atmosphere photos on the wall of all the old stars that used to come in town and the food is really good people are friendly.
Best pizza in dayton Ohio. Will definitely stop there again when I go through..
Still the best pizza! Miss the Super Cheese pizza since we moved to Chicago
Pizza was great...salad left a lot to be desired. Kitchen area was a total disaster. Employees were walking through garbage. Despite the mess, they had a pretty full house with customers and even a couple of parties.
low quality and overpriced. My cheese pizza had barely any cheese on it. Basically just a bunch of sauce with hardly any cheese at all. So little cheese you could see almost all the sauce on it. Was going to return it but i was starving and didn't feel like driving all the way back up there. Been going to marions for 30 years and recently the quality just keeps getting worse and worse. Wont be eating marions ever again.
I love Marion's Pizza but this location struggles. Everytime we order pick up its ready 15-30 minutes after they say it will be. They get our order wrong more often than right
I'm not sure what the rave is about this pizza restaurant. It does have a lot of space inside, so if you're gonna have larger gatherings, it would work well. The prices did seem fairly reasonably for a 9" pizza, but it tastes like gas station pizza..I got a pepperoni and onion pizza that I really wish I would have taken a picture of. The pepperoni was good but the onions were little dehydrated pieces that look exactly like what comes on a White Castle slider. It tasted terrible because of that. I eat pizza all the time, from every restaurant out there it seems like, and I've never seen anybody do this with onions before. It is unbelievable to me that they would not use fresh vegetables and ingredients.I asked the young man when placing my order if they had old world pepperoni and he had no clue what it even was. He then went and asked the gentleman that was cooking the pizzas if they had it and he said "I don't think so". Well, they have old world pep and that's what's on the pizzas. How can you not know what old world pepperoni is when you work at a pizza restaurant? We chose to eat in and they give you the cardboard grease cut out that goes in the boxes to use as your plate. They also said no refills on the fountain pop. I don't think I would ever eat here again. And I would definitely never get any pizza other than pepperoni since their vegetables are not fresh.
I love getting Marion's pizza. Food is always delicious and the staff is great.
