Joe's is a family tradition! Even though we live outside of Dayton, this is one of the best places around. The food is always excellent, and the staff is cordial and hard-working. As you can see in the pictures, the pizza didn't last long enough for me to get a good picture ? The old-school atmosphere of the seating area is reminiscent of when Joe's opened in 1959. If you are looking for a place to eat in Dayton, you can't go wrong here!
Hadn't been to Joe's in years, in fact I had pretty much forgotten about it. When we found out Godfather's still isn't doing dine in, my friend suggested Joe's. It has a relatively small dining area, and it was full on the Sunday evening we visited. Between the full house and carry out orders, it took a while to get our pizzas, at least 30 minutes. No complaints about the pizza, comparably with other thin crust/cut-into-squares "Dayton style" pizzas like Casino's and Marion's. Service is strictly up to the customer, place order at counter, pick up pizza at counter when your name is called. Would probably use carry out in the future due to tight quarters inside and limited parking.
Joe's pizza is 1 of 3 must-have Dayton pizza places. In my most humble opinion, it is a solid 2nd place of the 3. This isn't saying Joe's pizza isn't FREAKING AWESOME because it is.I love how the pepperoni's hold the grease, freaking awesome. The cheese pull is long and magnificent. These pizzas come out hot!! So watch out. The prices are great and out of the 3, the best bang for the money. I feel like the prices are almost too low for the quality and amount of food you get.If you want some tasty, hometown, Dayton pizza, you must try this place. The parking lot is small and the inside is old-school but it's no issue.
Joe's pizza was awesome. My Son was in from NC and he always wants his Joe's pizza. We all love it. It's the best. The staff are so awesome also we have been eating Joe's since my grandson played baseball at a very young age when Joe's supported the team. My grandson is now senior. I drive all the way in from Bellbrook to get some and bring it home. Marian Crase
My insurance lady tipped me off to Joe's. Hats off and napkins at the ready! FANtastic. I am officially a FAN! This place would be on my bucket list if I hadn't already gone there!
i used to come here all the time. a little frustrated when their prices went up a few times. ordered a size medium pizza with 2 toppings and my total was nearly 16.00. the pizza was a decent size for a medium however. when you compare with dominoes who offers a thicker more filling crust Joe's is nearly double the price and i feel not as much cheese is offered. wanted to give Joe's a try again and was disappointed with what we got. the person at the counter seemed to understand but the pizza came out wrong. called to let them know and they made things right definitely remaking the pizza and it came out a suberb quality the second time. they were not super friendly about their mistake and offered no apology. i will say that if you are ordering their food differently than the norm it does you well to check before leaving the resturaunt. a lot of places will forget to add extra cheese when it is ordered so make sure your portions are right. outside of a little hassle the end result will have us coming back. but we will check our pizza first to make sure it is done correct. some people arent particular about food quality but we are and i think joe's has a great potential. thanks joes.
Omg this is 1 of my very favorites and I mean 1 they make great pizza but I've been coming here for over 20yrs and I've never had bad service or bad pizza what pizza place can say that..I love I've grown up with the same staff that's been working there since I came in owner is amazing down to earth with a great dream.. well done my friend well done.. thanks for your long time commitment to this neighborhood and for being 1 of a kind!
Been coming here for many years . My daughter has a allergy and they accommodate her allergy request . I like the deluxe and kids enjoy the pepperoni pizza . Fair prices and overall pretty consistent in their product.
They have been in the area for decades. If you haven't had one already it's about time you go! It's a thin crust similar to donatos or cassano's, but Joe's is the best!
This is the best Dayton area pizza there is and has been for at least the 36 years I’ve been eating it…I now drive from Springfield for it and it is worth it every single time. Cozy, nostalgic atmosphere and the people there are some of the kindness, welcoming folks you’ll run into. I love everything about Joe’s!
