Some of the best local pizza! Never dined in, we always carryout. The employees are always friendly and helpful.
Never get our pizza when they say always 20 to 30 minutes behind. Time management would save you from losing customers.
Can't believe that I've lived in Dayton this long and didn't try Hogies until recently. The price was a little higher than one of the chain stores, but it was well worth it! I don't mind paying for quality. It was not lacking on toppings at all, the crust was not as thin as I prefer, but it was cooked perfectly and was nice and crispy. I'll deal with it being a little thicker than I like if it's crispy. The cheese was nice golden brown.I stopped in on a whim so I didn't call call ahead and it was rift at lunch time. I couldn't see the dining room because it was up a few steps. But from the looks of the parking lot they had a decent lunch crowd and still managed to turn out a perfectly cooked pizza in about 20 minutes.Did not catch the girls name that was working the cash register and took my order, but she was very polite.Over all it was a great experience and I'm looking forward to trying some of the subs and other menu items.
Love the turkey and ham sub and pizza. Been coming here since I was a child.
Used to be really good pizza but now just average
This pizza is so good. My fav in Dayton
Best pizza in town, lots of toppings, a little pricey, and always have to wait on our order, (no delivery offered) but is worth it.
Hoagies Pizza is good but not as good as it was three /four years ago. years ago the goodies on your pizza was pilled so high ,I considered it to be the best pizza in Dayton. Not anymore, even though it's still good.
My daughter and I went tonight. I haven't had Hoagies in forever and it was always a childhood favorite. They messed up my daughter's order. The lady said she didn't hear all of her order. She offered to remake it and my daughter was trying to be nice and said no. She then decided she wanted it remade and was told that she would have to give them back the pizza they messed up and it would probably take 20 minutes. At first she said forget it because she was really hungry, but then decided she wanted it remade. The lady took her pizza and proceeds to go in the back and complain about how she can't stand people and how she had already offered to remake it and now all of the sudden she wants it remade. Then she sends someone else up to get $3.55 from us because we hadn't paid for the pizza she wanted. They messed up and were extremely rude. We try to support local businesses but we won't be supporting this one anymore.
Love the pizza and it's always hot and ready when they say.
