This location is how the majority needs to be, food wise. Stocked, plentiful, attentive, courteous, etc. Back home they don't put everything out because they don't have the room this place does, but instead rotates various dishes daily. Not here. Everything is out and in abundant quantities. They even take the time to make a loaded/dressed (cheese, bacon, tomato) salad available! The only place lacking was desserts, but still plenty to satisfy the void.
We visited on Easter and cannot covey enough the excellent service we received in addition to the high quality of food served. The food pans were completely full at all times despite the number of patrons visiting this location. There were lines backed out the door, however they moved in a timely manner due to the organization of the staff knowing how to serve their patrons quickly. The staff and management at this location need to be highly recognized!!! Very well run location on Miller Ln., Dayton Ohio.
For a Mother's Day lunch time, I thought they did well. We got there about 1:15pm waited maybe 20 min for seating for 6. Need 9 but 3 we're a little late. But when they did get there, they was able to get close enough to us.And I'm a shrimp person, love it. Was full and hot. The ribs or what ever they were, nasty... They was still mooo'ing. Raw! Otherwise no complaints

My stars are actually going towards a particular staff member of the restaurant. I have issues ordering the steak at restaurants because I have a hard time understanding the proper names for the level of rareness. My ability to communicate with the cook for the steaks was not at its best and got a piece of state that was too done. The waiter taken care of us (Brian Faust) went to the manager and tried to get me the kind of sake that I wanted. With how busy they were the manager got the wrong kind of steak again. I don't fault him they were busy. Then Brian went out of his way to get me the right kind of steak. He went above and beyond to make sure I was able to have a positive experience. Also offered me a complimentary cup of coffee. I wanted to acknowledge his true kindness and customer service towards us. Thank you so much
The server I had I forget his name but he was excellent! The facility itself although it was very busy, could have had a little better appearance to it. A lot of the food bins were mixed at the salad.. Overall a nice experience
It’s been a few years since I have been to a Golden Corral. I was so excited to go! After about a 15 minute wait we finally got to our table. I was ready to dig in. Got my plate went to the table and couldn’t wait to get them mash potatoes! Get my a scoop and in my mouth! As soon as they touched my tongue I wanted to spit them out. They was cold like the had been in a fridge. Told one of the cooks he said “yeah I know I am making more”. He allowed people to clear the container out before putting more in. I never seen a manager the entire time I was there. Cory who was one of the servers and a joy to watch as he was running around with a huge smile on his face.
It was busy and staff was running around working as best as they could but maybe a little too much. Our server seemed like she couldn't deal with us when we needed something cause she was there and gone in just moments. I hope it gets better.
Great place to eat good stuff.
