Really Like This Restaurant.We love the breakfast menu, good portions, hot, and Very Good.I would not recommend going in close to closing. The serving staff are vocal about ready to close, we were there one hour and 45 minutes Before 8:00pm, leaning over table to fill sugar, salt etc. Made me uncomfortable and in the way. Around 5:30/6:00 PM should be fine.Managers are extremely nice and helpful.
As always.. it was fantastic!! Thank you again George's family restaurant ❤️ the lady's that work there waiting tables and bringing food out for pick up are really sweet too. I work for Triangle insurance agency and we are pretty much across the street from George's and we would order lunch from there 3xs a week or more. Thanks for all the great food. We will definitely be back for more.
I was shocked to say the least that they were so worried about COVID they had us wait in the car. ONLY to have the person serving our drinks set them on the adjacent dirty table with ppl still sitting there... are you serious. We were seated at 1030 and finally a waitress came at 1100 and she was very sweet. Food was good but not sure if I would go back.
Broasted chicken was phenomenal. Service was great. This will be a go to place when in Dayton.

The restaurant is small and almost has a country look/feel to it. The service is friendly and the vibe is very laid back. I grabbed a seat by the window, which turned out to be awesome as it offers a little privacy and allows you to see the whole restaurant.I had the French toast which was good, sausage which was also good, and some home fries which were good but almost cold. Not sure if they had the home fries sitting out or what, but that was a bit disappointing.
All staff is very respectful and professional.
The food and service was wonderful. Great variety and reasonably priced. Breakfast is always available. The waffles were very tasty. The hamburgers were thick made to order. I highly recommend this restaurant.
The waiter we had was very fun and cheerful. He made us all laugh, after being at Dayton Children's Hospital all day it was a good change. There food is really good. The people there make you feel like family, plus it's homemade food that you can't get at any restraunt anymore.
Food was solid. No complaints there. Service was slightly slow and it wasn't even that busy. I would definitely prefer to eat here if other places have their usual 1 hour wait times. I can not wait that long for the first meal of the day.
