Best bar in Dayton IMO. The vibe is just right for me. And the people there and staff really care about me. They make my favorite drink. It was custom to. I go there every single week. Sometimes during the year a few times a week if im able. Once certain things change for me ill be going there more. Thats all ive wanted to do. I dont do much other than work and going to Flanagans is my favorite thing to do especially during college season.
A perennial favorite in the UD area. We stopped by on a Sunday afternoon. Place was pretty slow, customer-wise. We sat at the bar. Bartender was super friendly-the kind of guy you instantly like. Ordered a pizza after he told us how much he liked it. He wasn't wrong-it was very good. Next time we'll probably ask to have it baked well done as we like the crust a little crispy. Decent beer selection.
The food was delicious, the service not so much. We had to stop eating because we couldn't get refills on drinks. My husband had to go to the bar to get the first refill. We left hungry and thirsty. Sad thing is they only had a few customers. Just extremely poor service. Train your employees.
We saw Fiendish play there and it was amazing. Great band, welcoming atmosphere, good staff and good food.
While it is a local college pub, with the recent renovations it has indeed raised the bar. With beer cheese pretzels and Irish nachos for appetizers and plenty of TV screens to watch our local Dayton Flyers on, it's a worthy contender for Bdubs for the go to sports bar. When we went they had on 5 different college basketball games at once!
Pleasantly surprised by this college bar/restaurant. Went there with my family on accident, looking for another restaurant, and realized we were in a unique environment as we passed the door signs warning not to dance on the tables. But, the food turned out to be delicious and generously portioned, with a decent beer list to match. Well-placed, quality TVs all around for good sports watching. Glad we went there.
Service was great, but expensive. Food could have been better. Shut the bathroom doors, the smell from the deodorizer was sicking.
Great Bar! Great People! Highly recommend.
Didn't make it in time for dinner, so I'm drinking redbulls until I get the energy to cook something at home.
Very good chicken wings and a delicious chili beans I recommend to anyone employees are nice and professional
