Haven't been in a long time. Food was very good, service was great.
It was 10 of us dining in, and We just came from my nephew repast , Adrien Payne, NBA EX PLAYER WHO RECENTLY PASSED AWAY SO WE ALL DECIDED TO COME OUT AN ENJOY OURSELVES, SO THERE'S NOBODY IN THE DINING AREA BESIDES US 10 AN 3 OTHER PEOPLE, SO WE ASKED THE OWNER IF HE CAN SWITCH THE B8G SCREEN TO THE NBA PLAYOFFS, BECAUSE WE WAS FACING THE SCREEN, SO THE OWNER TELL US NO HE CANT SWITCH IT , HE SAID LOOK AT THE SMALL TVS, WE ASKED WHY NOT WE'RE CUSTOMERS UR SUPPOSE TO PLEASE YOUR CUSTOMERS, SO THE MANAGER HAD THE NERVES TO SAY, WELL THE OWNER WANTS US TO KEEP IT ON THIS CHANNEL WHICH WAS HOCKEY, NOBODY IN THERE WANTED TO WATCH THE HOCKEY GAME, WE'LL COMPLAINED AN HE SAID IM NOT CHANGING IT, SO WE ALL WALKED OUT AN SAID I THINK YOU'LL ARE VERY RACIST.
Place is run down & food was grease soaked. I had fish n chips had to send them back. They were swimming in a basket of grease, the fries were put in same basket, besides swimming in grease they were so salty it made me choke. Coleslaw tasted old & spoiled. Waitress was very nice & got me a burger instead, the burger had no seasoning what so ever, cooked dry & the bun wasn’t fit to eat, it was so greasy I told my husband I think they have a container of old grease back there they dip everything in. Again the fries served with burger was even saltier than the first batch. So not the waitress’s fault we tipped her well for being so nice & accommodating. Won’t be returning
Its been a while since I have been but every time I go I get the massive burrito and a Bad Juan.... Maybe 2 if the mood hits me. Great place to relax, watch sports and get a drink.
A high potency but unrefined margarita should not qualify a place to be considered Mexican. Just call it a bar with Mexican inspired offerings. Personally I feel dirty just walking in the front door, it could've been professionally cleaned seconds before I walked in but it's got that overall vibe / look. The only food I ever liked was their Carolina style wings but they, like so many places, over batter their wings. The sauce could be great but all that batter, blech! The cheese dips and avocado dip were decent but not enough to carry the burden. If someone wants a cheap beer bar with basic food, you can't go wrong. But if you want good beer, better cocktails real / inspired food this isn't your place. I will say their patio at the Kettering location is fairly nice.
The staff were super rude towards the end of the night. They were basically forcing us to leave because it was after 10 o’clock. Coming up cleaning out table off forcing us to leave, they we’re super rude. I will be calling the manager to discuss the rude behavior towards us.
The owner doesn’t recognize the LGBT community! He talked smart with my wife! And I spoke up on her behalf and he said HE DIDNT UNDERSTAND THAT AND CHUCKLED ! I guess because he is THE OWNER he can talk to the customers that keep his restaurant in business any kind of way! He was the rudest person I’ve came across in a long while! He should close his doors! Or maybe that’s why he is under staffed! ?
We're not sure but we think that the waitress was drunk when she waited on us she had no common courtesy about her she was so negative she did not smile and she acted like we were inconveniencing her we will never ever go back
Bad Juan was good, but not good enough to save this place. I do not like putting down wait staff at all. Worked in restaurants for years and I know what a demanding and difficult job it can be. That being said, the waitress was very unfriendly and almost seemed upset at us for being there. Had the carnitas burrito. The carnitas itself was actually pretty good, but everything else was terrible. Beans had a weird sour taste. My date had beef enchiladas. I tasted it and it was putrid. Not being hyperbolic it was one of the worst things I’ve ever tasted. Will not return and I feel sorry for any poor soul that gets beef enchiladas there.
Went here for my birthday on 12/8 was not satisfied with service not a friendly greeting. I had the biggest table there and no one acted like they wanted to service us. Food and drinks were good, but I couldn't order what I wanted even tho what I wanted was on the menu. Overall its a no for me and I will never recommend a soul.
