So I want you to know I am Latina so I'm giving my perspective from my personal choices. I've heard a lot of good things about Elsas so we decided to try. I was so hurt by disappointment I didn't take pictures. I ordered carnitas taco and chicken enchilada plate. My children got wings and a burrito. The taco was a flour tortilla with carnitas, lettuce, and cheese! The carnitas were ok but traditionally I would of liked them on a corn tortilla with Pico de Gallo. And with salsa y guacamole. I used chaulula and made it bareable. The wings were on point! Wings are definitely the go to! I would rename the place Elsa's wings n things because calling it Mexican food is like calling taco bell the same. It was literally a dine in taco bell. No agua de horchata, Jamaica, etc...
Condition and initial appearance may turn you off but this is one of those places that you must eat at. The food and service is amazing and of course the cocktails are fantastic!
The Bad Juan is real. Really expensive and really strong. Food looked good but we only had drinks. Bar tender should consider working a job she enjoys so she can provide friendly service but oh well.
The bartender was great. The staff seems fine! I give a rating of 1 star because of the food. This is based on my first and only visit to this Elsa's. Chips and salsa was bad. My meal choice was the Fajita Burrito. Someone commented that their fajita burrito tasted bland, and I agree with that. The chicken was also terrible. Someome else said the chicken seemed old - yeah seemed like it had been cooked at opening and was still be served at dinner time. The vegetables and chicken had nearly the same texture which is....weird. The vegetables were oddly rubbery.

Elsa's has been a figure in the Dayton area for as long as I can remember but it's been a very long time since I was here so I'm so excited to find myself here was able to enjoy a bad jaun margarita and a mini Super Burrito was so good and so nice
The bartender is super friendly and the wings... well, what can I say...there is honestly no better wing in Dayton....if you haven't teied the Garlic Buffalo wing yet... you should!!!!
The food was great. The only complaint I have is they sat us by the door. Not great in the winter time.
Well, normally, any of the Elsa's in Dayton are just great. However, tonight was the first time in 20 years we were disappointed. I'm going with a 4 due to 20 years of great times, but tonight was really a 2. Hope they fix whatever the issue is.
Chicken qeusadilla all day long! Don't forget to wash it down with a couple of Bad Juan's frozen Raspberry. Tell them to bring back the Bad Juan's in a pitcher. Order take out and get a few Bad Juan's to go! Wifey will love you long time!
