Never been to the market before today. I’ve been missing out. The staff is friendly and helpful and offered to skin my salmon and prepare my trout. They were very patient as we were looking around and ordering what we wanted. The creamy crab dip lasted less than 5 mins once we got home. Will definitely be going back!!
Had my 1st experience there today and NOW I SEE WHY THEY ARE DAYTON STRONG FOR 39 YEARS!!!! The owner was so friendly and knowledgeable but as we all know it’s about the product and selection!!! In my opinion CANNOT EVEN COMPETE WITH THE QUALITY AND SELECTION!!! Went home and cooked and the flavor is exceptional and just like that I’m hooked! Every time I’m in Dayton I making a stop!!! Oh and by the way you can have your fresh fish cooked and make it a platter!!!!
you want it fresh they have it in the display case you want it now there's a wide variety of sandwiches to choose from always a great friendly staff

Bad customer service: employees act like they bare doing you a favor by taking your order. Food is over priced: establishment takes advantage of the local customers! Their business is quickly becoming bad, but they are one of the few places in town to get fish.
My girl wanted seafood and we don’t live near any good places. I don’t eat seafood as I’m allergic to shellfish so it all smells weird for me. But I ate some of her seafood order and it was amazing. There’s really only two places on the east coast I’d eat their seafood and it’s here and another restaurant in North Carolina. The batter is really good and seasoned just right. I will say the fries aren’t great but I’d still go back for the fish. It was even good reheated and I know that’s kind of a problem with most seafood. Highly recommend. And last but not least don’t expect not to wait they are usually busy which is kind of a great way to know the food is good.
I got a fish sandwich and it was out of this world amazing! This is definitely one of Dayton's hidden Gems! If you've got the craving for an awesome fried fish sandwich experience this is the place to go! The staff and customers were both tremendously helpful!
Fresh fish was okay, but will be back to try their cooked platters because they looked good so my rating may change
I was in Dayton (its about an hour from where i live)because my mom was having surgery on her knee today. Once I went to the hospital cafeteria and noticed nothing looked good. A young lady recommended Dayton fish company. I immediately drove there. It was such an experience. The service was so good the fish was so fresh and the taste did not disappoint. I ordered the Basa fish and the tiger jumbo shrimp dinner with fries and Cole slaw. I actually sat in my car and was in HEAVEN eating this meal. I will definitely drive to Dayton just to get this fish. Go try this place they won't disappoint!
