Went to the Cracker Barrel two weeks in a row once with a guest and once without had the same waitress both times and she does a great job
Always great food ,we have been too Cracker Barrel’s all over the country. All ways good.
So so do disappointed. We’ve been Eating at this Cracker Barrel for 4 years faithfully 1-3 times per month. The past 4 months have been awful. We used to get in and out in less than 75 minutes with fun fast friendly service. Now it’s servers with huge nose dagger rings and huge hoops like they’re going to the club. They have no sense of urgency. They forget you asked them for a refill. Last night (4/15) they ran out of glasses but instead of someone taking 1 minute to wash a glass they brought my sweet tea in a to go cup. The kitchen has been backed up 45 minutes once the order is put in the last 4 months. After a long hard days work this was the best place to come and relax and enjoy quality food. With everything else that Covid took I’m just so sad that this management staff has allowed this to happen. We keep trying it once a month the last 4 months and there’s been no improvement.
If I could give this restaurant 0 stars I would. My family and I ate here on Easter Sunday and waited thirty minutes to be seated and when we did get seated it took another forty five minutes to get our food and the restaurant wasn't even full. The whole ordeal took three hours. The waitress (Deb) was incredibly slow serving at the time two tables and she's the waitress who's been there the longest we were told. We thought she was new. When the food finally arrived my chicken tasted hard (skin) and the chicken tasted like it had been sitting out. It was obviously cooked in old grease, my mom's meatloaf was overcooked and burnt. Deb didn't ask us how our meal was or if we wanted dessert. We asked for a manager and never got one until we got to the front to checkout because Kristin wouldn't get the manager (we didn't know what happened to Deb). Needless to say my brother and I were sick from eating the chicken as he ate a piece of mine. I was ill as soon as I got to the car and I was ill for two days behind eating that chicken and so was my brother. We had been customers off and on for years and we will NEVER come back. It wasn't worth the food poisoning.
The food was excellent, as usual, bit I am extremely upset that a great family oriented dining facility thought it necessary to add alcohol. This is a well-known family business, serving all three dining venues, breakfast, lunch and dinner, and is a place I always enjoy when I an traveling as I know u will get a great meal before continuing my journey. Come on, folks! This not a sports-bar type of place. Alcohol is NOT NECESSARY HERE!!!
Amazing food and service!!
Mash potatoes was very dry beans was dry ? Ham was flavorful but super chewy ? it reminded me why I stopped eating here. Best part of this Extra Dry meal was the Peach Tea if you can get over the heavy powder tea flavor ??♂️
Breakfast was great this day. However, we went for dinner a few weeks ago and I ordered pot roast. Never again! I.opened the little crock to find a few chunks of chewy meat and a couple of veggies floating in a ton of broth. Not very appetizing.
great service and great food!
Absolutely the worst service I have ever had. We got a seated right away, but it took 15 minutes for the waitress, Ashlee, to come and acknowledge us. Then all she said was are you ready to order everything. We ordered our meals and drinks at that time.. 2 other tables were sat around us,, with a different wait staff and had there drinks and biscuits within 5 minutes. It took another 10 minutes to get ours. We were Ashlee's only table as far as we could tell. Once we got our food, she never checked on us and disappeared. We had to ask another waitress to get our refills and it still took going to the host desk to get them. I tried to address the issues with management and was interrupted and cut off. Never again!
